Why did I just imagine Jack on a rampage through Japan all Godzilla-like?
You know that Jack would have fun knocking over a miniature model version of any city. The real versions, too.

***Spoiler Warning***
I would be willing to call it "awesome", if we had additional dialog from the squaddies. That would be the icing on the cake. The only additional dialog that I know of, is when that bomb goes off in that building, and one squadie will make a comment. It's still a great DLC imo. Not to mention that you get a wealth of information, 2 upgrades during the mission, and the possibility of 5 more upgrades, according to the Wiki.

I'm going to treat Jack's height from the game as I do some of the characters' ages on the website. Because six feet is ridiculous. Because I hate tall people. And in my personal ME world, Jack's of average height. And I don't think average height is six feet all.
She could also be wearing those hardcore boots of hers. Those could add a few inches, no? Maybe standing on her tippytoes?

Am I the only one ticked that your second teammate is knocked out by SB in the final fight?
Its like creating a new character for a show and then thinking:
"well to make this character look awesome, lets make the other characters suck for a bit."
And then its like shepard forgets they exist after the fight until they start to wake up!
Thats the only complaint I have with the DLC, well that and no new squad banter.

I'm actually thinking BioWare won't screw us. Ok, only time will really tell, but still... at least now I think a happy-ever-after might actually be a posibility at least

We are going to have a lot to talk about. But first I need to go check all the other information out at the end of the DLC, I just checked out Jack's stuff then came here immediately
Edit: I will echo the worry mentioned earlier that hopefully this isn't a tie-up to all loose ends regarding ME2 squadmates, so they can dump them for new ones in ME3. That would suck something awful. But I'm not going to let that possibility ruin an awesome DLC pack.

I noticed on the last car-chase I finished that, having now got a reason to watch the big screens instead of worrying too much about the car getting away, one of the big Blade Runner billboards appears to be running trailers for Blasto
And those aren't the only wacky easter eggs. The folks who go to Azure must be into some twisted s--t if they have a Twin Peaks room.

Well, having got through it for the third time today (and finally with someone that has moved on - I'll be buggered if I say cheated on again - from Liara to Jack), I have to say I felt a great deal of satisfaction in saying I was doing it for her more than the whole bloody galaxy. And in Liara's reaction - pretty much exactly what I'd expected, actually. Took a few different turns in the conversations prior to hear a few different things (and being totally paranoid enough to save eveything before I even spoke to Liara)... but yeah, all in all it's a cracking bit of DLC; worth the wait, the speedbump on download day, and for the new info on our favorite girl. It's actually made me all the more hopeful for a final episode that'll keep all the love interests from both games there in some capacity or the other that is at least fulfilling and worthy of the emotional investment.
I'm actually thinking BioWare won't screw us. Ok, only time will really tell, but still... at least now I think a happy-ever-after might actually be a posibility at least
*Everything but the whole "Jack over Liara" thing never chose her as a LI.

Neither did I. I was tempted, after playing the DLC (Fourth time, going on fifth) but I'm don't think I'm going to.
I feel my MeerSheps are more suited to Ash and Jac -- er...Jacqueline.

After the Vasir fight, I think, Liara will make a remark about whoever it is you're currently romancing. That's when she says it.

Apart from MHRazer and I, is anyone else worried that Bioware will use these character backstory reveals as a reason to dump the ME2 squad in ME3?
With ME2 (but not 1) being on the PS3 I am more worried about losing ME1 squadmates in ME3 than ME2 squadmates. There is more a reason to keep ME2 squadmates than there is ME1 squadmates since the PS3 doesn't have ME1 (nor will it ever have ME1).

I wonder, did any of you notice the huge "Wanted" billboard with Jack's face and profile on it? It was briefly visible during the taxi chase.
I was just about to post this.

Haha that is awesome
Too bad it's probably just an easter egg and not really canon, cus you'd think people would notice Jack if you brought her to Illium since her picture is posted on giant billboards throughout the city, and she's difficult to miss. That would make for some interesting scenes. There'd be people freaking out, like, "Holy sh*t it's that crazy wanted chick!" Cops would come up and try to put her in custody. Sure it probably won't ever happen but it sure would be interesting.

I wish they'd open up new dialogue so we could show her what we found. I hate reading dossiers about people I care for and not being able to comment on it or do something. Hopefully sometime in the near future we will be able to.
Yeah they really need to add in some new dialogue. You found out Jack's age, her place of birth, and how she ended up at Teltin. Questions she's been wondering her whole life. You'd think you'd want to tell her about all of this. BioWare needs to release some DLC that consists of missions similar to the loyalty missions, where we learn even more about the squadmates, and can have deeper conversations with them. It would make a lot of people happy, and then hopefully we'd be able to tell Jack about all this stuff we found about her in the Shadow Broker's database. I understand it's diffcult to get all of the squad VA's back, especially for DLC, but I'm dieing for new dialogue with squadmates.

No I don't think so. You have access to the Shadow Broker's database, why wouldn't there be info about your squadmates in it? And if anything it makes us even more attached to the characters because now we know more about them. We understand them better, and we can sympathize with them better. Plus after all this development of each squadmate, it would be silly and a giant waste of resources to make them anything less than squadmates in ME3.

So yeah, just saw the video archive of Jack doing her cutscene magic thing. Gives the nursery rhyme "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick" a whole new meaning.
Ha, that's what I thought. She is quite the acrobat. Jumping high in the air, doing back flips, sliding under doors, hopping up on tables.

1) I also didn't appreciate the marginalization of the third squaddie (Jack of course) in the final boss fight.
2) I'm just glad nothing we found out invalidates anything I've done or plan to do fanfiction wise. And no, I'm not finished with 5B yet, sorry. I'll try not to take 3 months this time, that's all I can say.
