Is there any record of how long Jack has been imprisoned on Purgatory by any chance? Might help with her history.
Well seeing as how she has been around a lot and in multiple prisons and she is still very young, I can't imagine she has been there very long. She only mentions it once when you take her to the bathroom in the Dark Star Lounge.

But going to Azint's question, according to her dossier, there's a mention of neural degradation stemming from her biotic ability. It's just that with Jack, her powers are getting stronger as opposed to weaker. But the degradation is common among biotics. There's no real evidence that she's dying any more or any faster than, say, Kaidan or Jacob are.
Would make for a awesome heartfelt moment tho. Shepard at Jack's side as she is slipping away.
Ah i can just see it, total oscar worthy.
From a dramatic stand point that would rock if done properly. Now hear me out, I'm talking about a character who has been a tough as nails ****, takes what she wants from others and leaves them at an emotional distance, realize what is happening to them. They can feel their memories slip away. Starts off slowly, words here or there on the tip of their tongue, meeting people she knows she should know but can't recal. Powers being harder to control due to lack of clarity. Untill all that remains in a crying mess of a former warrior who has the mental process of a 7 year old girl.
That is definitely oscar worthy but I would be super pissed if it happened in ME3. I don't want this whole neural degeneration thing to even be acknowledged in ME3 let alone become an issue.

All right got it, because I like Jack, and it was worrying me that they may kill her off soon.
I don't think we have to worry about that anymore. Support for Jack has only increased, and based on interviews and videos with ME2 devs, she seems to be a dev favorite. Casey Hudson himself said she was the most interesting character in the game.

Should she survive the suicide mission, the rejected Jack should silently slip away next time the Normandy docks, never to be seen again...
And the next time Douchebag Shepard needs a huge biotic field or a space station ripping apart, he should think back, wonder what could have been, and promptly get his nuts shot off.
Karma. it's a ****
For a rejection? You are evil.
Go through the paragon romance with Jack, then turn her down during the romance scene right before the final mission, and I think you'll agree with Mondo. The scene where Shepard rejects Jack is far more crushing than any of the other LI's by far, and that's a fact. It makes Shepard look like the king of douches.

To lighten things up a bit, I had to snicker at some lines in the romance conversations when there's a conflict (I usually only pursue one LI and ignore every other eligible character to avoid that, so I've never heard these before). Jack's line of "So don't pretend you coming down here is special. You make a lot of stops" gave me a chuckle, and all the lines are good at portraying Jack trying to say, "I want you to be only focused on me" while still trying to convince Shepard that she doesn't care what he does.
Another classic "Shepard is a douche" line from that one: "I make choices on the battlefield. Not in the bedroom."
Lmao she calls you a douche if you talk to other LI's? That's awesome. I was planning on doing a playthrough as a maneating femShep, but I might also have to do a lady killer playthrough just to see all the interesting dialogue
