None needed, Johnny! As you can see, I'm still in full-on b*tch mode :kissing:

Well, maybe this will make you feel better.

Sorry about that, but it was just too damn funny to pass up.

This screenie never gets old, to me anyway.  I wish the ME2 configuration utility had anti aliasing settings.  The edge of her right cheek is jagged.  I read about a workaround to force it, for ATI cards, but haven't tried it yet.  Have to rename the MassEffect2.exe main game executable to UT3.exe.  Then you can force it in the CCC.

Just so you guys know, I delete any reference to page counts in the character threads because they're off-topic and annoy me are prone to creating an atmosphere of competition with other threads.

It captured two (Jack and Samara) of my three (Jack, Samara and Grunt) favorite squadies of ME2 perfectly.

Haha, Tali doesn't get the round head like the other characters, because she already has a "fishbowl" head.

Jack might appreciate the opportunity to harass drunks, while drunk.  Samara doesn't belong there, I agree.

Seeing as we're putting up pictures, I just attempted to do one of my own.

Here's the link to it.

Aside from that, what's been happening? A slight headache, and a lazy mood prevents me from checking the last pages.

What's with Jack's gold headband-thing?

It's a visor, actually. And it was to make up for not being able to draw her tattoos.

I lost the damn images.

Also, there was going to be a third character in that picture, but I couldn't decide. Too many biotics.

Pushed her visor up to avoid it hiding her eyes - I like!

I do like the visor for the 80's sci-fi homage it provides, but the fact it isn't translucent ruins it. If you could see her eyes through it, it'd work a little better.

When I was playing Halo Reach campaign I heard Jack's voice and I was like OMG! Yelled at my boyfriend to listen and I was like isn't that Jack?! I sat and watched the credits until I saw Courtenay Taylor's name. That totally made me happy :)

Jack. I like her be use she is indipendanf and strong. But she is a little too hardcore for my tastes. Any character tha tells you to go f$&k tourself is good in my books. I don't like her be use I find her to be a bit too cliche. I like her as a friend, but am not attracted to her because of her Terrible outfit, and the tattoos. The hair too, I like women with hair. Shallow yes, but I need to be honest. I am not a big fan of her as a squadmate. Overall, I think she makes an interesting character, even if she is too challenging for most gamers.

It's funny how the ME voice cast pop up in odd places... I was watching something on YouTube the other day - some footage from Gears Of War and I realised that the Locust Queen sounds very much like she needs some Serrice Ice Brandy to chill her out...

I'm sure we're all aware by now that Brandon Keener (Garrus) has been in a couple of commercials by now.  He also played a minor role in  "Pacific".

His role in "Pacific"
"Magic Fridge"

There's one more commercial for a hotel, I think, but I can't find it.

In dangerously continuing the off-topicness, I found this little gem of Morinth's Va, Natalia Cigliuti and Keener in a scene together. Starts at about 1:40 www.youtube.com/watch

Garrus needs his heroin.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of Jack fans think a Sole Survivor Shep goes well with Jack's romance arc. Why is that?

I think it's because people believe it's more likely that the "romance" would proceed "better" if the two have something in common.  Y'know, tragedy, angst, pain and deep miserable, soulcrushing loneliness that they compensate for by using conscienceless violence - as SS Shepard is usually renegade and ruthless as well.

Basically, it all boils down to how much of each other's sh!t they're willing to take - I mean, c'mon - that's the basis of any successful relationship.

Personally, in my opinion, unless it's handled well, it doesn't really work.  Two broken killers do not a stable relationship make.  Paragon Shep is a Goody-Two-Shoes àsshole.  Neutral Shep is a barely tolerable, semi-self-righteous àsshole, and Renegade Shep is an sociopathic àsshole.

Jack is for all intents and purposes a emotionally unstable 15 year old rape victim with abandonment issues and waaaaaaay too much power, and little self-imposed restraints.  We can forgive this because she has cause.  Sole Survivor Shep is also a victim with power, so it seems compatible on the surface.

Paragon Hero Shep can't really relate.  He's had family and fame and people with puckers at the ready for half his life.  Earthborn Shep can be played like another Jack, because we have no idea what he was in the Reds.  A leader?  Someone's b!tch?  Who knows?  It's open.

In my opinion, it is likely impossible for Jack to ever have what could be termed a "stable relationship" with anyone.  That requires a level of trust and an emotional depth she lacks, and no one but the Buddha would have patience for;  it's a tragedy just waiting for fruition.

Should we really give a fvck?

Not really.  It's just a game. Play it, fill in the spaces with any stoopid sh!t you like.  You paid your 40/60/80 bucks for the thing, so fill your boots.

Here's a thought:

Can you imagine Jack running around with big tatas?  That'd be just nuts, wouldn't it?  I mean...  daaamn.

Maybe because to truly understand someone else's pain its better to have experienced some pain of your own? Spacer war hero background seems a little too spoiled goody-goody. I don't think it really matters. Everyone can love Jack!

Shared pain, shared dislike of Cerberus - they've both experienced firsthand the terrible things Cerberus is willing to do for results.  It's common ground, is all.

It's merely my opinion that, from a roleplaying perspective, their relationship might have additional depth from a tragic-romantic standpoint.  I have a picture coming up that tries to show this.

I'd try to explain it, but everyone else already did.

But I'm gonna have to disagree with Jake, about Sole Survivors usually being ruthless. Of course, they'd probably'd be ****s, most of the time, but still.

Just my opinion, though, coming from a Colonist/Sole Survivor perspective.
