(Wow, you guys spent all night talking about this, and I spent my night posting in troll threads and making MaleShep and Zaeed do it. I feel so ashamed.)
I have to ask... did you make that Shep/Zaeed thing?

Not a problem. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]royceclemens wrote...
So thanks.
I'll agree on those two certainly. I suprised myself with Garrus'. Yeah, he's a friend and all, but maybe I liked it more because I didn't like him much in ME1. But it was sweet.royceclemens wrote...
GARRUS: Deceptively good. Starts out sweet and and becomes meaningful at the every end. Loves me some slow-burn writing. 4/5
JACOB: Can be used by vets to neuter stray cats. It's that bad. 1/5

Yes, indeed. The reason I'm posting it in several places is because it took me FOREVER to do. I have a couple planned, and wasn't originally going to rush them, but that whole "We hate the gays" thread forced my hand.
My favorite one has to be discovering that line from the Anderson meeting, "I'll take any asset I can get." It only took clipping out a single syllable to equal hilarity.
Currently listening to audio from the suicide mission. There's one point where Joker has to call out the name of somebody who died, and they're all in a row in the audio bank, so it kinda sounds like the start of the Mickey Mouse Club show. "Grunt!" "Zaeed!" "Thane!" "Annette!"

TALI: Extraordinarily easy and plays to the base. But Liz Sroka is astounding. No two ways about it. 5/5

Somebody mentioned a Miranda/Jack one last night, and I saw that they have it over at the "Fight for the Love" group. It's... uh... intriguing. I think I might have found the subject for my next audio edit.

Here's a fun little bit of info in case anyone is looking for even MORE reasons to believe that Jack has a strong chance of coming back. If you go to that Destructoid article that was linked earlier in the thread (here it is again) and read through the comments below, a little ways down is a comment by a user named Kitae. I thought I recognized the avatar, and my hunch was correct.
Kitae is actually Christina Norman... and Jack is her favorite romance in the game. Booya for our side!!

Edit: Not to beat a dead horse, but the points the article makes reinforces how absurd it would be to make Jack not a squadmate in ME3.
Jack: "Shepard, I know you're the first person I've ever emotionally opened up to, that I've essentially said I need you with me, that I have no ties to anyone else or any organization, that you're giving a bigger kick to Cerberus than I ever could, that I get to enjoy far more personnel and property destruction when I'm with you than I would alone, and that here I can feel relatively secure for the first time in my life, but something random cropped up so I gotta bounce, peace."

Yea that was me. Wasn't sure if I would be able to post it or not. So I didn't.
And Mondo as someone who romanced Tali on my first playthrough I have to say.............................That actually was funny.

Whoa. I've been peeking in on this topic periodically, and after missing only one day it's suddenly grown ten pages. Did I accidentally click on one of the other character threads?
Well, you guys have done it. I definitely have to see the Jack rejection scene now. The more you talk about how bad it is, the greater my need is to see it. It's a bit like when your neighbor asks if you've seen the horrible accident down the street. You know that you really don't need to add that sight to your memories of the day, but you'll probably take a look anyway.
Now, that Destructoid article got me thinking. Is the consensus around here that Shepard did not have sex with Jack in the Paragon love scene? I just assumed that they did, but I've never really thought much about it. The writer of that article obviously assumed that they didn't. Should it matter?
I can see how what looked to me like a tender postcoital embrace could look like... um, I guess just a tender embrace to another. The other love scenes that I've seen in the game don't really show what happens after the lights go out, so to speak (though I haven't seen them all). So, I suppose it could go either way. Thought, anyone? (And again, apologies if this is an old subject.)

[Picture of Jack's sad face after rejection]
I both love and hate Jack's sad face. that last one specifically is from the last-minute rejection, so more bittersweet than the rest.

So, um, going through Normandy conversations on my audio rip... yeah, FemShep has romance lines recorded for Jack. Including a response to the "If this is just about sex" line. There's something about hearing Jennifer Hale saying, "Alright, Jack. I like how you move" that... ooh.
Probably just like the MaleShep/Kaiden and FemShep/Ashley lines, a remnant that didn't end up getting used. But still... interesting.

Don't know if anyone has seen this one yet, I think it's one of the best pieces of Jack out there.

Now THAT is fan art I can support. Very nice, clean, and basic shot of Jack being Jack. I like!!

That gold thing on Jack's ear has been bugging me just now. Is it just jewlery? Or is it a hearing device?

Is it just the fling option? Or is there romance dialogue there too on Hale's part?
