Ok, if Jack was in the middle Virmire style choice, how do you think she would feel after being rescued?

Probably depends whether or not the other person was Miranda. ;)

A little more context would be nice.

Jack might feel conflcted.  If someone died instead of her, she would probably dwell on it for a while.  She might wonder why she was, strategically, more important than someone else.  She might wonder about the significance of Shepard choosing to rescue her ("What's he/she getting at?").

Jack has a very roundabout way of loving being alive.  Due to this, more mixed feelings might come up - she's alive, and someone else is dead, but that person wasn't her enemy (necessarily).  She might spend a lot of time thinking about how she'll live with that fact.  Is it worth it to be alive, but to have to deal with someone's death on her conscience?  I don't know if Jack might feel guilty.

All of this assumes that Jack isn't as emotionally distant as she'd like us to believe she is.

Just dropping in to show my support for Jack real quick before either of my roommates --who don't care for her-- notice!

Correct me if we're wrong but we've already had this with Murtoc (albiet with other stuff attached). I agree that it depends on who it was; Miranda? Probably cackling gleefully. But Garrus? Kasumi? Mordin?

Samara gives twist the knife some more; Samara at the very least matches Jack's biotics, probably exceeds them, and is much more disciplined. So why save her over Samara?

Yeah my bad, I could used more context.

Everything you just wrote is pretty much what I was thinking.

1. Thats what I was going for: a mix between the murtock incident and the virmire choice.

2. I think the answer for that is pretty clear,

Yesterday I decided to search through DeviantArt for several Jack pics on a whim. I stumbled across that stupid picture that you guys linked to earlier from the person who hate her. As I was trying to click on another thing or something I inadvertently dragged it into my favorites! I spent the next several minutes trying to figure out how to remove things from my favorites because I'd never looked into the control much before. And even when I got it out it still showed up on my page because I didn't have any others selected yet. I had to go and add many other pictures to my favorites immediately afterward to undo the memory of THAT minor blunder. :P

@Jedi - It's simple actually. Go back to the page where you faved the image.  Y'know the one where you hit the ADD TO FAVOURITES? Click the REMOVE FAVOURITE button on the right.

Voila!

Speaking of DeviantArt, you may want to take a look at this group (if you haven't already) which collects only Jack fan-arts jacksubzerofanclub.deviantart.com/

Just had a thought while sitting in the cold and the snow. Well, not literally but it's been snowing quite a bit in england and-erm, anyway, point is I realised that a way to work the 3d strap in is was it linking fabric, sorta like one of axl99's artworks which was based of concept art.

How was Jack's outfit in the alternative appearance pack DLC done? That looks like more than just a recolor of her character model, since the "fabric" stands off of her skin.

New models/polygons/vertices/triangles/whatever you want to call them were added. That jacket is, as you noted, not just a simple reskin, but someone made an actual jacket (or something that would be textured to one) same as the shades. Which sadly due to the way they are made can't be made transparent.

Technically speaking those shades CAN. Plenty of things in game are transparent. It isn't difficult to do in the game engine.

A dedicated modder could even do an entirely new outfit, skin it to the model, and see their handiwork in action - plus or minus a few animation related bugs.

Thatd be sweet, especially since Bioware ruined the only outfit pack theyve released so far (I specifically refer to those damn Jack-shades).

The joy about all the Unreal engines is they're very moddable.
