The problem is that NO modder has made Jacks' visor transparent so far :-(

I knew somebody was working on that, but either gave up or failed.

Shouldn't it be possible to just load her regular head alongside the alt. pack costume? I vaguely recall being able to put different heads on bodies and the like.

We definitely need to kidnap a modder, indoctrinate him/her and use their expertise :-)

However I HIGHLY! doubt they make a new costume for either one of the character of the first pack!

The image I got from the thread...if its anything to go by...is that the majority wanted a fixed Legion, a combat armor for Miranda and something new for Tali.

I sat and watched The Chronicles of Riddick last night (nothing else on the box)... and I've seen Pitch Black christ knows how many times...

You know all those folk that cite that whole Kira/Jack thing as BioWare hamfistedly "borrowing" rafts of material from said movies? Absolutely Riddick-ulous.

I know, this is old well-trodden ground, but seriously, while it's fresh in my mind, where is the similarity other than a name and a shaved head? It's the most pointless conflation of ideas out there, considering that other than said name and shaved head there are absolutely no connecting factors whatsoever. Following this logic, all characters sharing a name and perhaps a note in appearance are shameless ripoffs of one another... anyone called Paul who is tall and maybe owns an axe is obviously a homage to Paul Bunyan and so forth. Any farmer called Luke is a reference to ol' Skywalker Jr (though it probably is if he's an insufferable whiner too). And so forth into utter stupidity.

Besides, our Jack is totally more badass than the other Jack. And Richard B Riddick too. She don't need no lousy teacup to take you out, for starters...

Also, I remember Kyra saying she tried to join mercenaries but they only used her. She said something like "I was 11, what do you think they did to me" or things like that.
Even if Jack's colorful past is similar to Kyra's, I think it's just a homage/easter egg, like Commander Shepard being named after " Alan Shepard, the second person in space and the fifth to walk on the moon."

Speaking of which, I was bumming around TV Tropes a couple of days ago (and when I say "bumming around," I mean "caught in a morass of useless trivia for hours on end"), when I entered upon the entry for "Good Scars, Evil Scars."  Opened up the Video Game Examples folder, scrolled through and found ME.  In between Zaeed's gunshot wound and the scars Kaidan has that you need a microscope to see, I found this little gem...

"Jack also has some scars mixed in along with the tattoos. They're probably self-inflicted."

I don't want to get an account there, so I can't correct the apocalyptically stupid little mutant who would write such garbage.  I guess it's a lost opportunity.
