The comparison between Fenris and Jack are nearly identical but Jack still gets negative support. It is truly sad to see a misunderstood character get so much hate because "She looks like a dude", "Her boobs are too small" and "She hurt my feelings :crying:".

Sometimes I seriously think most of the Mass Effect fanbase are whiny little kids with sensitive feelings.

If it helps, I dislike being around her because I can't get anywhere with her if I don't romance her, which I can't do. She just clams up and never improves.

I understand your reason and respect it but you have to admit other characters  clam up if you do not romance them.  I mean look at Garrus with his calibrations, Miranda with her busy schedule, and Tali's obsession with keeping the engines clean. 

I will admit Jack is the most difficult egg to crack but she has been through a life time of hurt and betrayal, of course she is not going to open up to Shepard right away even if you romanced her.

Yes, but Garrus and Tali are actually likable, and Miranda is at least stable.



I greatly sympathize with Jack; her life has truly sucked. I just don't want to spend much time around her when I could be spending it with... well, Morinth, who amusingly is the one squadmate who never blows you off.



And I still wonder how those two would get along, though I don't think Morinth would be terribly impressed by Jack. Jack seems to be all rage and no subtlety or actual control.

Are you implying that Jack isn't stable?  If so, how do you figure?  Now this is just my two cents, but I highly doubt that TIM would recommend someone to Shepard that's going hamper his mission more than help.

I was initially neutral to Jack at first. Thought she wasn't great in combat, was a little too profane, and other reasons.



Then I read this comic series.

And I immediately fell in love with her.

In regards to the comic: if it helps, I don't think I'll like Fenris either. I'm not trying to hate on Jack or anything, just give a demonstration that not everyone who doesn't like her is terribly shallow.



Of course, if I could romance Jack as a femshep and thus help her psychologically... I honestly don't know what I'd do canonically. I'd definitely do one playthrough where I stayed faithful to Liara and one where I went with Jack...
