Amazing pic axl!!
Is that haircut one of the ones tattooed on her arm or is it one of the concepts that wasn't used? Either way it's cool to see Jack in a new light.

There were LotSB DLC data files in the disc to begin with. Which means that they did at least some of the work for the LotSB DLC before ME2 was released. So the way this is explained is the same way it was explained the first time.yorkj86 wrote...
There's a thread that lists unused audio dialogue for Lair of the Shadow Broker. There's unused dialogue for Jack + FemShep, again. At least with retail ME2, you could argue that they had both Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer read identical dialogue, thus explaining why there's dialogue for FemShep + Tali, for example, but how can this be explained this time?
Of those of you who play Fallout: New Vegas and have seen the teaser trailer for the new DLC, is there anyone else who thought "Hey! They made a Jack-lookalike one of the DLC companions?" Just wondering. Not planning to buy it (until it gets into an all-in-one bundle anyway) since I don't do consoles. And frankly the concept and plotline of the DLC strike me as rather silly anyway. But that's just me.

As I noted in the vid, there is NO same-sex dialogue for MShep in Lair, just in case you missed that bit.

So honestly, I understand that some people are just hair people. Get a really nice flowing set of hair and the attractiveness of a person increases tenfold to hair people. Just like some people think the removal of glasses ups the attractiveness of a person, because they are eye/face people. Before there was Jack, there were calls for Ashley to let her hair down just once because she would be so much more attractive.
But I don't understand how people translate that into a change of character. I mean, I suppose it was a conscientious choice on Jack's part to keep the shaved head even though she left the cult so you could say the same about her growing out her hair. Okay, so then I guess I do understand people who mention the hair thing. And I've never been all that hung up on Jack needing the shaved head to be who she is -- I shave my own head and I don't think it changes who I am.
Come to think of it, the length of my hair is purely out of my own laziness, but it does seem to change how people perceive me in spite of my own personality being fairly consistent in spite of it. How would Jack have been perceived if all of her lines and demeanor was exactly the same, but she had long flowing hair? Perceived better, I suspect.
But anyway, if Jack's hair were to change in ME3, I only want it to signify passage of time. As some sign that you have "paragoned" her is bull****. I imagine if she felt like it, a renegade Jack would grow her hair out just as well.
While we're at it, I think Ashley should shave her own hair off to signify how hardcore she's had to get in the military with the Reapers attacking Earth and all. Miranda will hack off her own hair because Shepard has taught her she doesn't need to rely on her looks all the time to get what she needs, and those long flowing locks just get in the way during battle.

I was looking through DA, and I found a picture of Jack tattooing Garrus' clan-markings on Shepard's face (by request, of course). Shepard had asked Jack to do the tattoo, because, in the fanfiction that inspired the picture, at least, Jack had become known aboard the Normandy for her skills as a tattoo artist. In this fic, the crew of the Normandy would come to Jack, asking her to tattoo them with things like images of their children, for example. Jack never charged, and never turned anyone down. The artist of the picture suggested that this artistic practice might be one way Jack reaches out to people.
The picture
The fic
That made me think. While we've discussed Jack having artistic ability, I thought that this particular idea, this way in which Jack is able to express herself, and reach out to people, was really well thought out.
Uh...that would be character derailment of the first order. Why do these people want unique characters to conform to stereotypes?GodWood wrote...
I've noticed lots of these types of threads spring up from time to time.
I really hope that Bioware doesn't think this is a general concensus of what Jack fans want.

I admit I'm one of those "hair persons" Pacifien mentioned, so I wouldn't mind seeing how Jack looks with hair (and be heavily offended if they cut Miranda's), but a personality change to "all nice and acting a bit more girlfriend-y"? Never. There's personal growth, and there's character derailment. So no fluffy Miranda (some people want that too), and no "all nice and girlfriendy" Jack. LIs who are nothing but adjuncts to Shepard are boring.
