Yeah I typically go for girls with an exotic look (like Jack of course).

Jack should only have hair if it's her personal choice. Not to signify that she's more "normal" or anything of that sort. My two cents.

Maybe someone should start a thread exclusively about Jack's Hair - or lack thereof.

It can have sub-headings like:

"Zero Hair - everywhere?  Only Shepard knows!"

"Jack in pigtails - homicidal Pippi Longstocking?"

"Is Jack flat because she has no hair?" - which can lead to:

"Breast implants for Jack in ME3 - Support Subject DD!"

"Does Jack have a boy butt?  Bikini DLC for Jack, Miranda and Tali!"

That should match the general vacuous-ness levels of Jack-related conversations, more's the pity.

G'wan - give it a go.

I honestly don't get the fixation on Jack's appearance, but what do I know. I actually liked Jack's look.

Well, since Jack has no personality, what else do people have to talk about?

Okay, those thread titles were creepy ;-)

Heh, Jack figuring out how to do a vanguard's biotic charge would be hilarious in a slightly terrifying way, what with her megaton punch.

I'm certain Jack already knows how to biotic charge, singularity, warp, and others.  The gameplay mechanics just holds her back.  It's unfortunate how underpowered the game makes her seem.

I was looking through DA, and I found a picture of Jack tattooing Garrus' clan-markings on Shepard's face (by request, of course).  Shepard had asked Jack to do the tattoo, because, in the fanfiction that inspired the picture, at least, Jack had become known aboard the Normandy for her skills as a tattoo artist.  In this fic, the crew of the Normandy would come to Jack, asking her to tattoo them with things like images of their children, for example.  Jack never charged, and never turned anyone down.  The artist of the picture suggested that this artistic practice might be one way Jack reaches out to people.

The picture
The fic

That made me think.  While we've discussed Jack having artistic ability, I thought that this particular idea, this way in which Jack is able to express herself, and reach out to people, was really well thought out.

I like the fic=]

Jack tore those larger mechs in half. Would be too OP for that to translate into the gameplay :P

For the most part I just bring whoever I like on missions, without regard to combat prowess, anyway.

Yeah, if Jack weren't nerfed for gameplay balance purposes the game would be boring. We would just follow Jack holding her drink for her.

I'm not entirely sure Jack's powers are nerfed if you play on Normal difficulty, which is how the game was designed to be played. Shockwave would be quite potent then.

That would not be that bad ;-)

Anyway, it seems to be a common flaw in videogames: you see a character who seems to be the stronges and most powerful being on earth and then when he/she joins your team you see that he/she's not that useful in combat v_v
If you've ever played Neverwinter Nights 2 you know what I mean. Cutscene powers to the max!

As one of those dreaded casual gamers, I can confirm that Jack is beyond beyond awesome on lower difficulties. Still, I would have loved it if her loyalty power was something more along the lines of "massive mech punch."

Charge + massive mech punch ftw. I remember one time on this topic this guy euphemistically called it the horizonal slam.

That just makes me think of the video where Grunt does a krogan charge on a scion, only now I'm picturing a Jack horizontal slam on a scion. And now I remember I meant to do a run through ME2 using nobody but Grunt and Jack.
