I had heard that she'd been playing a game called Real Life. It sounded a lot like grinding, but I guess the loot payout is substantial if you stick with it.

Not sure if this has been discussed before (in all likelihood it has, so just ignore me), but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why Jack chose what she did as her original outfit. Shock value? If so, why the pants? To show off her tattoos? Again, why the pants? Distaste for shirts?



If anything, that utilitarian strap looks incredibly uncomfortable. Thoughts?

Who knows? Funny, though, that she's not modest in the slightest...right up until showing her nipples.

The pants I figured were her prison garb. The belt bra was also surgically implanted onto her nipples by Cerberus and its removal would decrease her biotic potential.

That's my story, I'm sticking to it.

Joking aside, her pants look definitely as prison garb. I guess the belt bra is for shock effect: Jack shocking people in-game and Bioware shocking players in real life. I think it also works from a storytelling point of view, since her loyalty outfit COVERS more skin than her original one, like Jack wearing something more "appropriate" because she does not need to shock Shepard anymore.

I always thought she couldn't be bothered doing that on a Cerberus vessel since they bug everything and more [if we were to go on what Mordin was hinting at in regards to Jacob and Miranda].

Man, I totally forgot she was in prison.  (Hey, in my defense Purgatory does not resemble any prison I've ever seen)...Not that her outfit seems like standard prison garb anyway, but the whole prison deal does explain a lot.

If you look carefully, it's a "standard" prison-issue jumpsuit, that she's basically unzipped and left hanging.  If she felt like it, she could just pull it up and zip it.

Just goes to show you - Miranda has to pour her can into some skin-tight catsuit, just to look like a big-assed ripoff of Mrs. Peel, and Jack can make a grungy orange pair of coveralls look hot.

If Jack does get armor for ME3, something similar to a bike suit, she'd definitely unzip and leave it hanging around her hips when she's not using it.
