I wish she hadn't gone straight back to her "I need to think" dialogue after the suicide mission without even commenting on the mission or on coming up to Shepard's room. It kinda took away something from what I otherwise found to be the most emotional romance, as it made it seem like it never happened.

agreed. it kind of felt like an in-game retcon.

All those tattoo's she has are a bit off putting but she has a colorfull personality. The reason she acts the way she does is cause of what Cerberus did to her.

She was just waiting for someone like Shepard to show her who she really was on the inside.

Currently I like Jack, Tali and Miranda in personality, the reverse in looks. However I think that Jack is the best as a squad member.

Jack is without doubt and by far the most illconcieved character ever to appear in a Bioware game. The notion that a competant commanding officer would allow her freedom to roam the ship and take her on an important mission is utterly preposterous. She is unstable, irrationaly violent, utterly unreliable and a complete liability on any mission. If she must be included in the game then we should at least have been given the option to get rid of her (paragon - disable her amp and hand her over to the authorities, renegade - toss her out of an airlock).

I am currently on my second playthrouggh and was very dissappointed that you could not continue the mission without recruiting her. When her character was first revealed last year, developers said that we would be able to choose whether or not to recruit her. They should have stuck with that plan. I am currently trying to work out if I can get her killed off before boarding the collector station.

I have to disagree with this, just about every member of your team is equally dangerous running around the ship unfettered except for perhaps your previous squad mates.  This is why Shepherd is shepherd, he/she can control all of these wackos.

Her character and back ground story were pretty good though the theme has been used before.

What exactly does Jack's shockwave attack do, and how far does it go?

I completely agree. When I went to talk to her after beating the final mission I was like wtf!? Did you forget we just destroyed the collector's base, and that we had hot emotional sex right before that? At least I can call her to my cabin at any time for some semi-spooning lol Posted Image.

But regardless of that, Jack is still my favorite character in ME2 and I will be super pissed if she's not on my squad in ME3.

She would be hot if she grew her hair longer, dropped the boy clothes, and acted more ladylike

So if she turned into Miranda you'd like her? Well then go talk to Miranda, but keep Jack the way she is. We don't need two shallow chicks who brag about how perfect they are.

Exactly. Jack is unique and that's what makes her attractive.

Jack is one of the most developed characters in the game and romancing her really feels like you made a difference in someone's life (in the game's context). Not that it should be a reason to romance anyone though :)

I am quite sure that in terms of facial features, Jack is the most attractive (albeit with heavy makeup).

I think that this is the gay love option some people are asking for. I mean the name, body, actions, hair style just like John's.

On my second play through I found it hard to romance the other characters because I already went through Jack's, and it was so great.

The problem is that she isn't a "strong woman". She's a emotionally fragile woman who act's like a gigantic ***** to cover up the fact that she isn't actually strong emotionally. She even admits as much in the paragon love scene.

I know what you mean. I romanced Miranda and later settled for Tali in my 2nd playthrough mostly for the extra dialog options. I know which playthough I am going to import for ME3 though.

The N7 tatoo is a nice touch. (And she seems to have ditched the belt for a more sensible, but still action-oriented, sports bra.)

The way she looks and acts now is what makes her an amazing character.  Otherwises she'd just be angry Miranda.
