You can still see her eyes if you look at it. Though you have to really look at it.

It will spare those stony-hearted souls that perfer to see her purely as a psychopath (while lacking any grasp of psychopathic behaviour outside of Silence of the Lambs or a Wikipedia page) or as the frankly-baffling 'whining emo teenager' archetype from seeing those digital eyes emote at them... heaven forbid they have to change their preconceptions...

It's just that they have this great looking character with a wonderful face and they opt to cover up the most interesting part about it.
I know she has amazing eyes and they go and cover them? I'm not 100% if the picture is legit though. But if it is they really need to get rid of those silly glasses/visor.

I think the same thing and I can't even PMS lol. I guess I'm just easily irritated by stupid people. Yes, yes I am.

Glad to hear it. Some people look at her once and automatically hate her. I can't stand those people. I like to think the majority are not so simple and close minded, but I always get proven wrong.

What do ya mean? Those are perfect sources for understanding Jack!
Your 'emo teenager' comment indirectly caused me to wonder. How old is Jack anyway? I couldn't find it online. Any estimates?

Priorities are everything. Those Eyes > Dem Hips > Dat Ass
Maybe that's the reason. There are no body parts for callow young men to drool over. The entire point of Jack, from her attitude to her looks, is that she is not an easily plied object.
The swirling funnel of ego found elsewhere on this forum boggles the mind. The "I paid sixty bucks for this game, so the girls in it darn well better be nice and do everything I say" mentality. Heaven forfend that Jack makes you work before falling for you and heaven EVEN FURTHER forfend if they won't fall for you at all. There will be a lot of crest-fallen young men around these parts when they find out the hard way that their delusions will be shattered when Kasumi, alas, will not be romanceable.
Which will either make her the most hated character BioWare has ever produced... Or Tali Redux.

Check for the slide called "What kind of game is Mass Effect 2?" in the circle called "new and old fans" and there it is.
Congrats, axl. You got Christina's eye.

Bit of a side note, somebody posted the full set of slides from Christina's presentation, and I saw that axl99's painting of Jack actually made it into one of the slides.

On one of her arms, Jack has a tattoo of a woman who looks a lot like herself, but with ear-length, dirty-blond hair. I wonder if that's an artist putting an Easter Egg in to show us what Jack looks like with longer hair.
Actually, there's an in-universe and real-world explanation for that.
We assume that in the world of Mass Effect, those are image of "past Jack," different hairstyles she's worn and whatnot. But really, they're all from concept sketches from one of the art designers of the game; you can find them here. (Last two pictures.)
I've always said that if they left Jack bald for ME3, that would be fine. But if they picked one of those hairstyles for her to have, I wouldn't be too upset about that, either.

Now I have to wonder what the Jack designers were originally thinking for Jack's in game clothes, and how much a storm it raised?

At least I'm playing on PC, where someone can mod the textures of those glasses to make them transparent, hopefully. Not the lenses, I mean THE WHOLE THING.
I agree ;-)
