Spoiler (I guess)...

After that lame DLC, I suppose Jack'll be busting Shepard out of jail as some figured long ago.

Please do the SPOILER thing bigger and more noticable next time.

That blonde haired woman that Jack has tattooed on her arm totally reminds me of Yvonne Strahovski and thus of Miranda.

Well, in comparison to normal people, yes we are.

In comparison to Tali-fans, we're like Agnostics debating how we measure up to high-strung Evangelists.

So take that any way you want too.

On another note, any more rumours surfacing about squadmates coming back (and frankly Im only concerned about one making a return appearence.)

Oh no, and I've already made a clay Jack statue to worship... I guess I'll just rename it to Ripley.

Now as for the impending trial, I think the VS is gonna be the one to bust Shep out of jail... But a look of concern from Jack in the crowd as Shepard is led out the door in chains?  That's something I can get behind.

Nah, she's a known criminal, wanted in gawd knows how many places by gawd knows how many cultures. She'll be banged up before Shep is, probably in holding while the asari, turians, hanar and batarians all cannibalise one another over extradition rights. When the Normandy 2 docks at earth, Shep will have told her to behave herself. She'll tell him to go f*ck himself, smirk, and then look concerned as he goes to disembark. Cue trial. Cue getting banged up. Cue either Dave Anderson, TIM (not the man himself but some convenient mercs/insider/etc.) or the Virmire Survivor blowing in the south block's wall and having a daring escape during a riot that gives cover for getting any crew also languishing in the clink for working for a known terrorist organisation. Shep will be legging it down a corridor in the supermax wing and have to choose who to rescue in the time given, or just happen to hear a familiar voice over the squawking claxons
...

Jack: (low) Christ, this game blows...

Shepard looks into the cell opposite him. The door is wide open. Inside, Jack is sat serenely cross-legged on the floor playing solitaire with a deck of cards. The cards hang in the air as opposed to lying on the floor and a faint crackle of blue biotic fire shimmers over the bored cardplayer.

Shep: Jack? Jack!

Shepard's face fractures into a smile and he rushes towards the door but an energy-charged card whips past his ear at high speed with an audible snap.

Jack: Ok, quit it with the mushy sh*t. You got any idea how long I've been waiting for you to break out? I'm bored outta my f*cking tree here!

Shep: But -

Jack: I'm officially pissed at you. Behaved myself for what? Sixteen hours of solitaire and f*ckin' guards checking me out...

Shep: I'm... I'm sorry I took so long.

Jack: So you should be.

Shep: Uh, how come you're not in stasis? Or dosed up to the eyeball with inhibitors?

Jack: (snorting) Pfffttt! F*cking amateurs had no idea of how much it takes to take my edge away.

The two remain awkwardly seperated by the open door. Jack looks at Shepard like he's a slow child.

Jack: So... are we leaving?

Shep: You're damn right there. We -

Jack: (imitating Shepard) "We've got a galaxy to save" or some sh*t like that, I know... (muttering) why did I have to hook up with Dudley f*ckin' Do-Right...

Jack hauls herself to her feet, cracks her neck loudly and saunters out of the open cell. The floating cards faint out of the air to the cell floor. As she passes Shepard he opens his mouth to say something. Jack glares at him, stopping him dead, then she bursts out laughing.

Jack: Your f*ckin' face... priceless!

She flutters her eyelids like a rescued princess, clasping her hands together mockingly. Jack leans in, and lands a butterfly-light kiss on Shepard's now rather stern face, then slaps his ass - totally removing any sense of coyness whatsoever - and walks casually up the corridor.

Jack:
Come on, you're new to this prisonbreak sh*t still. Keep up.

Shepard looks once more into the cell, then follows Jack.

Shep: Glad you behaved yourself.

Jack:
Suuure...

The cell lies empty. After a few moments a droplet of red falls from the ceiling. Followed by another. Then another. Then an arm, twisted off like an oversized drumstick wrapped in bodyarmour. Then a helmet crushed like a tincan. Finally a deluge of spilt blood, pulverised organs, shattered armour and body parts rushes down like a noisy flood, painting walls and floor a deep, dark uniform crimson...

Oh, you can bring the love outta the girl, but you can't take the dragon outta there too ;)

GameInformer said its April issue would have exclusive ME3 news. Maybe it'll have something to say about squadmates returning.

Mondo's quickfic makes me sad, because it reminds me that I'm at the end of the conversation dialogue with Jack on this playthrough, and Arrival is a solo mission. Unless I start a new play-through, I can't hear Jack's wiseassery.

EDIT: Here, Helfort.

You know, by the most basic definition of a cult that I know of (a group of people following one individual for common idealistic values), I think we are a cult no matter what we are compared to.

There are varying degrees.

I agree with the Mondo book writing idea, part of me hopes he goes on a rampage and generations a 300k word fan fic of ME2.

Hell do you have a Fanfic.net Account Mondo?

@Mondo: You are my new literary hero. If you haven't kidnapped an ME3 writer and replaced him/her at this point, you totally should.

@Dicey1: I don't know if you can tell from my avatar, but as a costumed vigilante, I have access to some pretty exclusive tailors. If you ask real nice though, I could probably hook you up with some Jackolyte robes.

The first order of business for the Jack cult, is to make sure that we're all on the same page here.  Everyone must shave their heads.  Both female and male members.  You are to then post a pic of yourself in this thread.  No cheating!

Next, there must be a sacrifice.  Miranda will have her hands and feet tied together, with her hands behind her back.  Then, she will be hung upside down in the Normandy's maintenance closet, with a raw onion shoved in her mouth.

All of the male members are required to perform all labor and provide for the cult.

I will be the defacto ruler.  Therefore Mondo, Epantiras, and the rest of the females will be my willing concubines at my discretion.

I will instill order and discipline.

"Willing concubine"... oh, sure. I'm game. Can I bring toys? I have a big silicone fist and a favorite strapon. Don't worry - I'm nice. I'll let you have lube. Just not much... :D

Supposedly its all gameplay stuff, changing huds, mechanics and that sort of thing.

I thought we were supposed to be shirtless and wearing baggy cargos with combat boots.

This makes me wonder... What other heroines in any realm of fiction do you think come close to measuring up to Jack?

Someone called my name? :-)

Glad to see some new life in the thread btw.

[Arrival spoiler]
too bad my Shepard could not have Jack at her side when she pushed the "kill 30,000 batarians" button. That would have been a lovely present.
