Oh hush! Shame on you, Epantiras!Epantiras wrote...
I'll be honest, that "fan art" above looks like Jack's head pasted on someone else's body. Not impressed ಠ_ಠ
I think it's wonderful that all these talented artists are able to grace us with their displays of true artistic expression and individuality. This is art. This is creativity flowing through our minds. A celebration to God's glory, and to the dignity of man. You know it just may be this one anonymous glory, of all things...this grand quiring shout of affirmation, that there is meaning in this universe that we live in?
And she's got nice legs. *clears throat* Excuse me.

The only thing I can think of when looking at that picture is, "No way Jack would leave all that empty space un-inked."
My exact same thoughts as well. Makes the piece look half-finished, or the artist just couldn't be bothered anymore, sad to say.

But he probably wouldn't need to, seeing as it's highly unlikely she'd leave THAT much ink off of her legs. Which brings me to my next question.
Seeing as well all "know" how far Jack's tattoos go, what do you think happened to the guys who gave the ink that led down....There?

Shepard probably would have thought the same thing. Whether or not he would have spoken out about it remains to be seen.

I'm no tattoo expert and I don't know if it's possible, but it would be awesome if Jack did most of the tats herself. Still, I doubt she would have been able to do the tats on her back ;-)

As for inking within the zone of destruction, considering how in-your-face Jack is, I doubt she's be that bothered about someone tattooing her in intimate areas. She'd probably just settle back in the chair with little more than "I feel anything other than the needle, and you'll be pulling that gun out of your eye, 'kay?"

In a word? Biotics.
I mean how was she able to maintain that haircut of hers for so long? Just give her a razor and a few mirrors to lift up into the air and she's good to go.

Uhmmm I wonder what wonderful things could Jack do in a room with a Cerberus operative and plenty of sharp objects :-)

As far as inking yourself, I would assume that you would only be limited by sight and flexibility. Some things would be impossible to handle though, like Epants says, you back, buttocks, trailing edges of thighs and upper arms... just not doable. You'd be stuck doing them in mirrors, assuming you could even reach. I think a one-legged ass kicking contest would be easier.

Love it and agree with all the ideas, but I think Jack might say something more along the lines of "I feel anything other than the needle before you're finished with my ink and I'll tattoo my name on the inside of your skull."
...
I can't see Jack ever saying "'kay"

The fact that I'm playing this on a mouseless laptop makes this even more difficult. I almost got killed by Cerberus mechs, just 4 minute into the game. Lol
To keep things related, Jack would have full right to call me a p*ssy, then.

I know this is unrelated, but PC Gamers...How do you do it? I mean, I'm used to playing some games on the PC, but I've never played Mass Effect 1 or 2 on it.
Easy. WASD to move, space to run and interact, mouse to turn, Q and E to positon squadmates, R to reload, right mouse to fire, left mouse to zoom.
Every game I've ever owned I've played on a PC. I can't imagine how people use those frigg'n Xbox and PS3 controllers. Two thumb buttons and five hundred button combos to open a door? Pass.
Due to a reasonable investment in a pretty good rig, my games run on high graphic settings, are moddable and run very smoothly. Thanks to direct-to-tv-HDMI from my vidcard, they're also writ large and clear as a crystal in lovely 1080p.
The last gaming console I owned was this one. Never plan on getting another. Don't really see the appeal.
*Shrug* - to each their own, as they say.
Oh, and on topic - having given about 5 billion tattoos over the years, I can safely tell you that most tattooists - believe it or not - can get pretty blase about ****** and butts, and various kinds of nether regions. Unless they're really different, spectacular or unusual - they can all kinda blur together after awhile. So, depending on how much of a noob her inker was, she wouldn't need any threats.

Yeah, I gathered as much, from the first try. I've no mouse, though; just a touch sensitive spot. Makes aiming next to f*cking impossible.

To be fair, not all console games require a combo. Mostly fighting ones, but eh. If the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 1 or 2 had required me to button mash, or press any sort of combo to simply open one door, I'd stopped at renting it. First game I ever played was on a console. Guess I'm just accustomed to it.
But anyway, back on topic...
It's possible Jack could have done those tattoos herself. If she did, though, I'm going to have to assume she had some sort of reference, or limited photographic memory of those things.
Because of how the situation at Pragia went, I'm more inclined to choose the former.

Think about it: Thane talks about escaping into a good memory, but most of Jack's memories are painful (at best). I know even an enhanced human memory wouldn't compare to a drell memory, but I like this theory. It's now in my head!canon.
