It's actually not that complicated, but you end up with a lot to sort through.  I found the information on how to do it here. This guy is more focused on the music afcs, but you can do it with any file with an afc format in the ME2 folders.  Just need to download a few freeware programs. However, the final files are in OGG format, but I think a lot of audio players support those.

God, I put a post on the Tali thread around page 2991 about a sound file I found, and then went out to get dinner.  I get back and they're on page 3015.  I'm sure that's 24 pages of quality posts, right there. <_<

What I don't understand is how this **** is going to 'save' Tali (is it something like saving Feris?). Can someone draw me a diagram or something? I can cope with 8th dimensional physics (thank you Michio Kaku), but this... it's beyond me.

And when you have a minute Bobby, can you point me at the custom portrait how-to thingummy? I have this pic of Grunt I just have to use

So, a bit off topic, but I was checking out that video that was posted of the new Thane/Garrus/Jack costumes. It's funny how everyone is referencing them back to 1980's sci-fi because I keep looking at the new costume for Garrus and thinking "Tron?"

Or maybe I've just been watching the trailer for "Tron Legacy" way too much. 

In ME1's concept art book they mention they were gunning for an 80's sci-fi feeling/style. So... yeah.

So, guys, I got a question.

Have any of you ever heard a conversation in-game between Jack and Zaeed?  One that starts where Jack says that Zaeed looks familiar?  One triggered on Omega?

Because either I just found some cut Jack dialogue, or I missed something, because I wandered all around Omega, and I didn't see a hot spot to trigger it.

I hear ya there. <_< I love Tali and all, but most of the posts on the thread are just pointless IM's; hardly any discussion at all. I don't even look at it anymore, because as soon as I post something, 40 pages will pass, with my post forever lost in cyberspace. 

Also, it seriously needs to be locked down soon. It's length reached Ridiculous at the 800th page mark (which was 2200 pages ago...).

Anyway, to answer your question. My take is that the "Save -thischaracter- for ME3" support threads are more of a gathering place for their fans to discuss their character on the main forum (as the groups, as nice as they are, are usually outdated by several days and are home to more off-topic discussions); the thread titles to me, seem a poor choice of words. But whatev.

I went ahead and assembled the conversation I found in the Omega sound files. I don't think it's in the game, because it kinda sounds unfinished: Zaeed's answers don't really seem like they completely fit, but I couldn't figure out any other order that this would make sense.

The interesting thing is, this doesn't really sound like a hotspot triggered conversation; it sounds more like something you'd hear wandering around, like Garrus and Tali's conversation on the Citadel. Makes me wonder if there were more random conversations that were supposed to be in the game, and didn't get finished.
Of course, if this is actually in the game, and I'm an idiot and missing it, please somebody let me know.

Had listened to those as well, I just assumed it was something Jack said if you take her along to recruit Zaeed...? Guess not?

Possibility, but I dunno.  One, it's in an "ambient" sound file, which in ME2 terms usually refers to sounds you hear when not in conversations.  Two, Jack says, "I'd been thinking," which if she just met Zaeed, doesn't sound quite right.  Not discounting it, though, maybe I'll try it on my next playthrough.

Interesting... veeeery interesting. Never heard it anywhere myself, but I tend to just do everything with Jack & Grunt, so... taken Jack on Zaeed's loyalty mission before now, and I'd certainly not heard it there.

Hmmmm. That's very, very interesting. I think there was an old thread or an old post in this thread where someone wondered if Zaeed was part of the group that took Jack after she escaped from the Teltin facility, because on the Normandy Zaeed mentions he picked up an 8 year old girl a long time ago. Alright, we need to do some search'n for this conversation in game. From now on I'm guna bring Zaeed with me instead of Grunt, along with Jack of course.

Holy cow, I didn't even think of that!  Yeah, that conversation was earlier in the thread.  And it kinda lines up: Jack would be more likely to remember him, considering I doubt he's changed his personal style much, but I doubt Zaeed would connect the bald tattooed menace in front of him with a scared little girl from so long ago.

Zaeed said he rescued the girl from somebody else, however, so I doubt his crew were the ones that picked her up.  It would make sense, though, that she was captured by somebody on the way out of Teltin, and Zaeed ended up being the one who sprang her out.
