Also Keep in mind I thought ME2 was plenty dark for me, so all I want is good times from now on :P

How was it dark? It was almost completely light hearted.

You're being sarcastic, right? I'll still play along. I suppose one could think that dying, being brought back from the dead, helping Samara kill her own daughter, watching Thane grieve over how he got his wife killed, Garrus over how he got his team killed, Tali over her dead father, Jack for all the things done to her, Miranda for the things not done to her, helping Jacob deal with his slave-owning father, and hearing lovely stories about Jack in a latrine in Purgatory---could be seen as completely light-hearted, but that's cuz you're crazy. Possibly :P

Dat abdomen.  You can also see her abdominal scars very clearly, there, along with the details of her tattoos.  I accidentally deleted all of my screenshots, when formatting my system drive [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]

Scheiser, I've been there before. Had to plug in an external harddrive and use a recovery program.

And yes, I can see every scar clearly thanks to this thread

They probably wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't put it past them, though.

What's the time-skip from ME2 to ME3? 3
months? That tells me nothing can be changed that drastically, but then
I look at Liara and how she changed in a matter of hours. Anything goes I
spose.

I think it's parallel to our time.  Or at least that's what I've read, but that might be wrong.  From the release of Arrival to the release of ME3 (~9 months), I guess, or it could be from the release of ME2 last year, to the release of ME3 (~23 months).  Don't quote me on that.

I thought ME3 takes place two months after ME2.

I just found about this thread. I usually just hang around the DA/offtopic sections.

I'm a huge Jack fan too, happy to see she'll be in ME3. Are there any pics of her yet?

also - yorkj86 - you have the best taste ever. Samara and Jack ftw

Very useful. Kudos.  And yeah, GI says "only a few months have passed" between the suicide mission and Shepard's trial. This is a good thing.

Good to see the support. No pics that I know of, unfortunately.

Well...If Jack changes, I won't care. Anybody'd have enough sense to keep to what makes the character, so if it happens, it'll be acceptable.

From what I read, though, it only said her look would change, and not her personality. I won't care if her hair ends up growing, and I won't care if she starts wearing armor that covers her tattoos. I'd wager she wouldn't have time to cut her hair, and wearing armor would be logical, seeing as it's war she's about to head into. A full on galatic war.

I'll wait until AFTER I've seen this change first-hand to blow a gasket. In the meantime, I'm gonna grab another bag of popcorn, and watch this argument.

I don't really care either, at least not right now. Hell it's all speculation anyway. I know that Jack doesn't have to be bald or sport her tatts in order to be Jack. All of that is on the surface.

They can screw her character up in a lot a ways, much more so than by simply changing her appearance.

"butthurt" isn't as effective as "asspained" in generating additional "asspain" from just the mere claim that someone is "asspained."

The state of "butthurt" might translate into physical pleasure for some people. Wait what are we talking about again?

Oh right. Jack. Well we can all agree she deserves to be happy. All that hardship and no payoff in the very end? Harsh.

That's the bottom line, of course. My only concern is that the incessant complaints about her shaved head, her flat chest, her tattood body and god-forbid her b!tchy attitude will be "remedied" just to please the normies.

Also, who wrote for Jack? Are they/him/she not writing for her in ME3?

Kinda ironic, considering the Jack thread as of late.  :D

Ashley Williams face looks the same to me just a curvier body and a different hairstyle.

I believe Jack will have hair and maybe some tattoos removed? Some think tats are hawt but there is a limit. Maybe they will enhance the breast area but I doubt they'll turn her into Miranda

Can you picture Jack's head on Miranda's body? just doesn't look right. She should be petite.

I'm almost hoping for a full body biotic amp that looks like a motorcycle suit with the same aesthetic as the terminus armor, and she can peel it down her waist when she's not wearing it.

Would Jack have tattoos removed? They are her history, but her history is also in her mind. Maybe she wouldn't need them, anymore.

Also, if Bioware is changing Jack's design because of the closure provided to her by Shepard doing her loyalty mission, what about Shepards who didn't do her loyalty mission, but who had Jack survive the suicide mission? Will they just assume that Jack went and nuked Teltin by herself? Why would she bother showing up for that Shepard, though?

You ought to sketch it out, axl.  I hope squad mates can suit up in a set of armor before going on combat missions in ME3, if they aren't wearing it already.

I'll be surprised if they remove any of her tatts, but once again, I wouldn't put it past them. I suppose it's a lot easier to remove a tattoo in a futuristic sci-fi setting.

What am I talking about? Hell she may look the same as she does now, with the exception of different clothes, for all we know.

That's a good question for all of the ME2 squadies.  I've wondered about that several times.  I hope there is something to this in ME3, but part of me says that they'll probably just assume that Jack nuked it herself.

You're right.
As much as I hope they don't overdo it with her look, I'd get over it pretty fast.

Personality is the big thing here, as long as it's not changed too much, I'm cool with it.

I wonder if they are going to do something similar to what happened if you didn't pick up Wrex in the first game.
And just make it so she got herself killed if you don't do her LM.

Well if TIM wants Shepard gone, then there's a high chance he might come out into the open himself. All the more reason for Jack to stick around to wait for that opportunity and kill him herself.

I haven't been here as of late so you might have to elaborate, but complaining about the core of a character and complaining about changes to the core of a character are very different things.  It depends on the nature of the changes, obviously. I have no doubt that any alterations Bioware makes are within reason.

oooo, I've had this dream, only TIM is wrapped in plastic and placed on a table where he can see pictures of all his victims before Jack stabs him in the heart

How many more people will make Jack their waifu, though, just because she looks more "presentable," in ME3...?

Exactly. The very idear rubs me the wrong way. They certainly made Ashley more "presentable", so who's next?
