^^ it's better to go with the "neutral" responses in that convo than the paragon ones. It's a much better exchange.

"I'll just f--- you up."
"Here's hoping."
"How does that even make sense?"
"Does it have to??"

I've always liked the line about being technically undead, so Jack can do her worst.

It accures to me, I've never seen a zombie Shep pic. You'd think they'd be all over the place.

That pic makes no sense. The leather straps and longer hair, I mean. Unless Shep's in a relationship with her, she'd keep it chopped. If she is in a relationship with him, she's probably not going to continue with the badass wardrobe.

Withholding that, it's still a crappy depiction of her. The cat eyes and tattoos (they look nothing like what covers her, these are tasteless doodles) make her look like a doll instead of a murdering angel.

First off, that imagining in ridiculous. Jack isn't an overly-effeminate character, so imagining her like Miranda with short green hair and an ed hardy shirt makes her a different character altogether. A very boring and uninteresting character thats easy to overlook. Secondly, why would she change her wardrobe because she's with Shepard? She's a killer, no matter who she's with, there's no "fixing" that about her and her attire is a part of that.

Maybe. And that's like one line I dislike out of how many good ones.

"You got a lot of questions don't you?"

"I miss your friendly nature when you're not around."

But perhaps my all time favorite is after the O4R we look all cute together talking about blowing up the base and I say I have to go and she still says

I think it's a great picture.  Why do people keep saying "if she's in a paragon relationship with Shep, she should grow her hair out."?  I don't think Jack is the type to define her look by "Oh, I've got a man!  Need to pretty myself up!"  I don't think she'll really give a crap what people think.  She might be a bit more relaxed so not care about upkeep on shaving her hair and decided to let it grow out, but I can't imagine that really having much to do with "Oh, I got Shep now!  He'll protect me, so now I don't have to keep this symbol of my past!"  She likes the haircut.  That's really it.

"Good, I can't take much more of your face anyway."

That's totally wicked! Nobody ever says something like Shepard without getting a bullet in the head in the next scene. Except Jack, of course :-)

On the afformentioned "Jack with hair" art, sure, it's nice work, but (and you just knew there'd be one of those ;)) I think the whole "you can only be punk for so long" statement is missing the point entirely, because it's not been kept for that reason. As has been said already by others, I doubt a few cuddles and some bedspring torsion-testing is going to alter Jack's penchant for being prickly with people outside her comfort-zone. It's not going to evaporate realistically; lose some of its hard edges, maybe, but not evaporate. If you want something that can't be countered by any argument, Jack is a scrapper - long hair is a serious handicap in a fight... people tend to try and rip it out or use it as a convenient handle to smash your face into the ground with. Something short, sure, I can see that, but I can't see her running about with wavy girly hair for the simple reason it's exploitable in combat and it isn't projecting her don't-f*ck-with-me persona anywhere near as much as a shaved head on a woman is.

If she was going to have something with a bit more substance going on though, I'd vote for something more like this...

It's feminine, and it projects (literal) prickliness ;)

Crazy thought of the day: Jack is the visual opposite of Miranda. Discuss.
:-)

Ok, seriously speaking. I like that their rivalry is also displayed in their look. I wonder if Bioware really meant to make them visual opposites since the beginning or if it came in later stages of developement.

It's not just visually that they're opposite.

Jack was the byproduct of horrendously bad luck. The wrong womb with the wrong eezo exposure at the wrong time, with the wrong doctor who sold her to Cerberus. The wrong friends, the wrong sense of vengeance, the wrong pepople surrounding her to put faith in until now. It's almost completely random.

Jack could have been anyone. But Miranda, by the very nature of her conception and her birth could ONLY have been Miranda.

Can't really grow a lot of hair in 2-3 months. Maybe just a couple inches at best.

@Epantiras, they are pretty much opposites in everything, I think you nailed it. Apart from looks, Miranda escaped, Jack was captured; Miranda was rich before that, while Jack was poor; Miranda is sly, strategic, with a talent for long term planning; Jack gets to the point directly, couldn't care less about strategy, and prefers to live fast; Miranda is sarcastic, Jack is blunt or matter-of-facty; Miranda is cold, Jack is a walking arson, even her part of the ship is red while the rest of the Normandy is blue-ish and white. We could go on forever.

@royceclemens, Miranda could have been Oriana. I understand her genotype was designed, too.

But that's just it, her appearance --as is the case with a lot of people-- is a projection of her personality. While she can be the same, and relatively look similar to now with hair, and conventional hairstyle or anything seeming conventional would never appeal to her. The pic you showed is a good option, but like you said, "she's a scrapper" The hair will get pulled and she's likely to get her ass kicked. I know she's got guns and biotics, but you can't tell me you can't see Jack doing something like this. So lush thick hair wouldn't work too well with her personality and lifestyle.

I honestly think these might be a bit much for her, but its better than seeing her turn into Miranda  after spending a half an hour in hot topic.

I still dig the dreads. Long or not, dreads would look sexy on her.

I'd rather they'd be long, though.

I don't know why, but I've always liked short, punky hair on girls.  Even the buzzed look is good.  Maybe that's a reason I like Jack.  :)

Jack's facial structure is unique in that she could rock the **** out of any hairstyle given to her.

Seriously. I've yet to think of a hairstyle I wouldn't want her to have.

Anything past the top of her ears is too long. And dreadlocks is so new age now, that I can't think of anyone I know or known who wasn't a sloth in some respect. The whole redesign sounds like a bad idea.

I was never. Big fan of Ashley, but they totally changed the churchgirl from top to bottom. If this is what they have in store for Jack...

She'll still rock it. Posted Image

Might not like the hairstyle herself, though.
