Hey guys, just out of curiosity, thinking back to purgatory, I'm just now noticing that all the prisoners there have buzzed heads. That said, do you think Jack's hair was buzzed by personal choice or was it mandatory? Sorry if this has already come up.

Ah, now I remember, been months since I've played ME2, thanks for reminding me.

I be scarred, now
She said that to Shepard the whole game, so for me it's not that she said it, but that she even says it after the romance scene. I expected a "Good, we'll talk later" or "Peace" or maybe even "Bye, sweetie". But that made me lol hard. That's why I don't imagine any drastic changes in her character.Epantiras wrote...
"Good, I can't take much more of your face anyway."
That's totally wicked! Nobody ever says something like Shepard without getting a bullet in the head in the next scene. Except Jack, of course :-)
Indeed. I think her getting lazy and letting it grow an inch or two naturally is the WORST they should do.android654 wrote...
Anything past the top of her ears is too long. And dreadlocks is so new age now, that I can't think of anyone I know or known who wasn't a sloth in some respect. The whole redesign sounds like a bad idea.
Same here. Someone said Ashley's remodeling was because she's a Spectre now, but I only had to point to Tela Vasir to prove that she's more like Miranda than a Spectre. I never did like Ashley, but now she doesn't even have the credibility of looking like the soldier she's so proud of being.I was never. Big fan of Ashley, but they totally changed the churchgirl from top to bottom. If this is what they have in store for Jack...

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the Paragon option for her loyalty mission or the...I'm not sure which option it really it. (The regular option that says not to kill him, and then requires an interrupt to save Aresh's life). I was rather freaking out, because even with a paragon bar over 75 % ( I think it was at least) the paragon option was still grey'ed out.
Then I saw the regular "let him live" Option had an interrupt, which seems to have had the same effect as the paragon one. Anyone know if there's a difference between the two? The wiki wasn't very clear and now I'm freaking out a little bit over it.
My current character is mostly renegade, but wanted to go paragon in that one instance (and as I'm on the 360 version and am not very tech-savvy, I didn't want to try modding it to have more paragon points).
Anyways, thought I'd ask here as this is the thread dedicated to such an amazing character : )

If I'm not mistaken, Jack is one of their characters whose loyalty mission cannot be failed, no matter what you do.
Makes me wonder if the Aresh decision will matter at all to Jack's character, in ME3.

It was a tense situation tho. Jack finds closure and agrees with killing Aresh OR letting him go. Which actually confuses me cuz after I let her kill him she says

So I hit the white (neutral?) option, then skip the paragon interrupt

And about the renegade/paragon system, Ecael or Pacifien had a thread for it but I can't find it, I think that for every 4 charm/intimidate situations you come across, 3 of them have to be paragon or renegade so that you don't have them both greyed out. I'm not sure, and I definitely dk how it works when you don't choose either.

And so I also let Garrus kill Sidonis, Mordin kill Maelon, Miranda kill that-other-guy-I-can't-remember and so on :-P

And I felt equally as bad as you on my renegade.

Just awful.

Hopefully, all our bolstering of how much we liked Jack got heard, and that there wasn't a whole column during the development of ME3 that said, "JACK SUX KILL HER OR GIVE HER SUM HAIR!"

Edit: and Garrus "most popular romance"? Casey must have mixed his amino spices.

Hmm, not sure how to feel about this interview. I always worry when somebody from BioWare mentions they "listen to the fans," because I always wonder which fans they're listening to.

I seem to recall Hudson saying that Jack is his personal favourite. Let's just hope that means he likes her as she is, and not as the "reformed" subject of some reductive knight-in-shining-armour fantasy.
All I can say to those who persist in claiming Jack needs the alleged overhaul is...

What's the renegade interrupt? The only white option I ever chose was "Leave him alone".
Shepard points his weapon at Aresh, and I don't remember the exact line but its someting to the tune of, "if you haven't got the balls to shoot him, than I will". And Jack not willing to back down shoots Aresh.

I could listen to Casey for hours. As evidence of his eternal love of Jack, I recall this interview. He also says Miranda's simpler which was kinda out of nowhereLiquidGrape wrote...

@GeneralSlotts
I don't mean the Intimidate option I mean the renegade interrupt after you fail to tell her to kill Aresh.

I was talking about the interrupt, the problem is I barely remember it. So yes I've done a disservice to the evilness of the conversation by shrinking in down. I don't know if this means anything to you since I'm sure you'd prefer to have the subtitles at your fingertips, but I'll try and explain it better anyway. Remember that when you click a white option she will want to do the the opposite.
Shep: "Jack, I think you should kill him"
Jack: "No, I'm not doing it"
Shep: "Jack, I'm ordering you to kill him"
Jack: "**** you"
Shep points pistol at Aresh: "If your not tough enough to finish him then I'll do it myself"
Jack stares Shep down an then pulls the trigger.

Whoa! That's similar to the Intimidate option except more dialogue from Jack. How awful.
Speaking of awful, here's more words from Casey
"You got people that might die in your squad, those people will stay dead obviously, and something different will happen in ME3. Part of the thing is we don't like to punish for a certain decision, we actually try to reward both sides of the decision in different ways."
Nooooo!
