that's pretty cool york, did she actually say she's gonna answer these questions or is it still more of "let's hope she responds" kinda thing?

Ms. Taylor said she'd respond to the questions she can answer, of the ones I sent (nothing that would make Bioware angry at her).

Btw, i'm really happy and somewhat (of course pleasantly) surprised now that Jack has been comfirmed to be in ME3. Feared for a while that Bioware might drop her, 'cause she's not the typical "videogame-babe" (you know, big boobs, non-confrontational, always smiling barbie doll), and people kept complaining on why she has short hair and doesn't kiss your a** constantly. Guess that's 1-0 for Bioware:) Definitely my fav character in the series...
Has already been said a million times here, but might not hurt to say it again:)

When Jack broke out of the Subject Zero facility, how did she get off world? Does she say?
Thanks in advance.

Huh, I know it's probably one of those "It's just a video game, I should really just relax" kind of thing, but this being brought up makes me wonder: how exactly did Jack know how to fly a shuttle? I'm sure they wouldn't include that in the lesson plans at Teltin, so are space shuttles so easy to fly in the ME world that somebody who has probably never even SEEN one before can manage to fly it?
If I had to guess, I'd say she put a gun to somebody's head and forced them to fly it out for her, but seems weird that the Jack we met at the start of the game, who wants everyone to fear her, wouldn't mention that part.

Sexy avatar. Love the expression.
As for how did she know how to fly it, I dunno.
Maybe she just put it on auto-pilot.

Sort of how your average person could probably get into a Cessna 172 and get it off the ground... but good luck from that point on. (If they could get it started, at least)

Currently doing my 1st run into ME2 and noticed a problem with Jack, at some point i got into Miranda's office and Jack was there also fighting with Miranda after doing Miranda's mission.
I went back to the bridge and Kelly told me Jack wanted to speak to me, i go to Jack and all i get is 'F*** OFF' i didn't do her mission either. This is going on every time i try to talk to her.
I read on ME wiki that this wasn't supposed to happen till after i do both missions.
And yes i find Jack intresting (Riddick

I take it you had casual sex with her and then sided with Miranda.
You're a bad person and you should feel bad.
Anyway, I think you're screwed. Once she tells you to **** off, there's no fixing it.
If you have a save file previous to settling the argument, load it and then side with Jack. You can get Miranda's loyalty back later.

Holy butts, I just got a response from Ms. Courtenay Taylor. Apparently the e-mail address I was directed to, has been dead for over a year, and that's why she never got our e-mail. Axl, should I show her the picture you drew?
Awesome

If someone were to make a sig banner that
says something along the lines of "I liked Jack before it was cool,"
that would be...cool. You know, just in case.

Uhmm I assume it's a bug then. You said the Jack/Miranda confrontation happened BEFORE you did Jack's loyalty mission? The only thing I can say is trying to load an older save.
I haven't done the Jack loyalty mission at all expecting it would work afterwards, i think i spend about 10+ hours exploring planets and doing missions. Already went to look for a fix and supposedly something called 'gibbed's save thingy' could fix it by setting 'loyal' to 0 or something.
Kind of weird though, ontop of that i was hoping to 'bed' Jack as Femshep.. (played DA:O/DA2

Uhmm I still wasn't totally sure where we stood at that pointMondo47 wrote...
Incidentally, it might say something for people (read: guys - yes, I am being sexist, bite me - I'll point you at the filing cabinet of Exhibit A being the raft of guys that like to talk trash about Jack in comparison to the almost complete lack of it from women) getting all "confused" about Jack and calling her out on being a b*tch all the time. By this conversation stage in ME2, Tali is mainlining antibiotics and has swapped her shower gel for antihystemines, and Miranda is hastily reshuffling the duty roster for engineering... Jack though, you're still not totally sure where you stand... until this talk and her cover's blown.
Even when she says "you know what it's like to think you're alone, and find out you're not" was confusing to me. She just seemed very conflicted. She does like you but might still believe it's better for everyone if it didn't happen. Respectfully I thought she could have just as easily stolen a shuttle that night as show up in Shepard's cabin. Hoping Shepard would stop her, perhaps, and confirming her earlier suspicions if he didn't.
Indeed. How'd you get rid of the red light? I think it's gone if you turn off Depth of Field but I didn't like that look.zewuok wrote...
It's a great expression, that's why I chose it for my avatar (made from a screenshot without the red light).
Well, another reason is that the badass ones were already taken by Bobby and Mondo [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]
@Silence
That is a strange bug. I also have a bug where right after Jack says "This room was my whole childhood. Give me a minute to look around" it skips to here;

So I don't get to "Walk with Jack". And I want to walk! Hard!

To be honest, I don't know, I never see Jack in that red light when she sits on her cot. Maybe it's the graphics settings, 'cause I usually turn off everything that isn't absolutely necessary for the game to still look good (having a single core Old Machine rocks<_<).Goat_Shepard wrote...

Well, if you're in a need for some Jack screenshots I have plenty, but most of them are with subtitles.

The red light has an aesthetic appeal to me, but I'm curious how you did that.

Just checked my config- under "Number of Cinematic Lights" I picked "one" (for my Fraps run with Jack and Mordin). Maybe that's why I don't have the red light in The Pit? I'll have to check that and other options.
