Being the strongest is only part of it. Samara has the strength and experience, but she's also limited by codes and morals. It's the same answer I give when people ask who would win Jack or Miranda. Jack would win cuz she's a KILLER. She'd go for the groin then Pull your eyeballs right out of their sockets
Usually when you're measuring "power" in this sort of pissing contest, you assume there's a perfect situation for all of the participants to exert themselves to the best of their abilities.

The killer for me was that episode where they all switched bodies. I never laughed so hard.If you say so. Personally, I thought she was probably one of the most underrated actors I'd ever seen.
No doubt. From the extras I found out Pygram was able to improvise, as well. Tho that whole series felt like one improv after anotherBoth were good, Pygram better than Browder, IMO.
EDIT: Jack Content....
Uhm... let's ****** off the Taliwhackers and hope that the quarian face reveal comes in when Jack catches Tali trying to love up Shepard and smashes her face plate in.
Tali's face unveiling is obviously just a myth, Commander. A convenient lie to cover Bioware's true purpose. A legend they are using to bend the fans to their will.
So if Thane were to spar with a hanar assassin, what would be a fair battlefield?yorkj86 wrote...

I agree Goat, on both counts. Lets hope it's for the better and we avoid another DA2 debacle.

Are you never impressed, Jack?

Agreed, but there are still factors to take in to affect. Miranda was made to be genetically perfect, but not superior. She is the best a human can naturally be, but Jack goes BEYOND that. Jack was made to push the limits as far as possible until those limits snapped. There is a reason someone dies if Miranda is holding the biotic barrier and not with Jack or Samara/Morinth. (My poor, poor alt-character Legion.....he will be missed...)

I've been looking for it, but there doesn't seem to be a Bioware posts search. I remember this same arguement but it was Liara vs Jack and a dev gave his opinion and then stated Jack was the strongest biotic they've created.
If there was a Bioware post search function it would be easier than scrolling through the hundreds of jack threads with no lable if there is a post or not. Regardless I remember it being said.

Yup. But this is the Jack thread. And in the Jack thread, we are loyal to the Inked One, we say unpopular things, because the Tattooed Goddess' First Commandment is, naturally,
Thou Shalt Not Give A Fvck.
followed by
Fvckest They That Cannot Taketh A Joke.
I am also a Talifan. I Tali many bananas, and quarians wanna go home.

It's the oddballs that tend to be the most interesting, I think.

Hey, c'mon - Claudia was awesome in that one.
No doubt. From the extras I found out Pygram was able to improvise, as well. Tho that whole series felt like one improv after another
...and rarely predictable. Which I found completely refreshing.
Tali's face unveiling is obviously just a myth, Commander. A convenient lie to cover Bioware's true purpose. A legend they are using to bend the fans to their will.
Do you really wanna see it, Talifans? Really?
You won't like it.
You know you won't like it.
Nothing Bioware comes up with as Tali's Face will good enough for the 'Whackers. They will never accept it. It will be the same thing as if Jack had all her ink erased and suddenly decided that she forgave Cerberus, having seen the light, and from now on will only ever say "fiddlesticks" when angry.
The self-righteous howling at the final reveal - if it ever comes, should be exceedingly amusing - and enlightening - to say the least.

The scene where he looks all scared cuz Crichton's about to dunk him in acid, and then after he leaves him he just flicks the acid with his hand like it doesn't even hurt him. Total improv, total awesome.

That's a terrible analogy, because Jack doing those things would be a complete 180 of her personality, while Tali's already shown herself to Shepard. It's going to be a blessing. Those who know that appearances mean next to nothing aren't going to be bothered by any outcome, while the "Whackers" will be revealed for who they are: butthurt fanbois who had a cookie-cutter idea for how he and his waifu will retire.
Like you said, amusing and enlightening.

Again, physically strong, maybe. I can see that, but Samara is not only well trained, but also an asari, which gives her natural control over it. It's a really REALLY new evolutionary trait humans gained and that was by pure "accident" because of the Singapore event. If they went straight blast for blast, Jack would probably win, but in an actual biotic fight, Samara would be more cunning, faster, more controlled, and be able to last longer. [/quote]
And the fact that Samara was splitting people's spines when humans were still burning witches and thought syphoning blood could cure illnesses
Still, Jack was created to be that powerful, so she doesn't apply to the normal rules of human potential. I really really want to see them fight, now, or find that dev post.

It's part of their biology that they are more capable to control their nervous system, and therfore biotics come more naturally to them.
I'm not sure either if I agree with Jack being the strongest biotic *period*, but I also do not dismiss the possibility as implausible.
She could very well have the most raw power, which does not mean she is the *best* biotic because an asari like Samara would have naturally more control over her biotics as well as more training in their use.
It's like when a very athletically gifted person is worse than a more average person by comparison who has a lot of experience at a certain sport, but if the former trains for long enough she'll surpass the latter eventually.

And regarding Jack's strength: I do like to believe that she's the most powerful human biotic (meaning that she is also more powerful than an adept Shep -- biotic wise) however not the most powerful biotic in the galaxy.

That's because Miranda refused to acknowledge Cerberus's involvement with the Pragia facility even with the evidence standing right in front of her face; plus she callously disrespected Jack's suffering and even called her "a mistake".

From what I've seen a lot of Jack fans do dislike Miranda but a lot of Miranda fans dislike Jack moreso.naledgeborn wrote...
Question: Why do Jack fans in general hate Miranda?.... other than the Cerberus connection and/or her attire. I like both, granted I like Miranda more but their rivalry doesn't stop me from liking Jack....at all.
Whereas a Jack fan will usually call Miranda a stuck-up, catsuit wearing b*tch, a Mirifan will call Jack a ugly, bald, tattooed b*tch and than proceed to have her deliberately killed off during the suicide mission.
At least that's what I've observed.

Worked for me. The best part of the Scorpy saga for me was that, in the end, he got precisely what he was after. Hence that self-satisified look on his face. Best sci-fi villain ever? Well... yeah, actually.
That's a terrible analogy, because Jack doing those things would be a complete 180 of her personality, while Tali's already shown herself to Shepard.
Not at all, those are things - along with the long flowing tresses - that would make the Jackolytes gnash and froth.
It's going to be a blessing. Those who know that appearances mean next to nothing aren't going to be bothered by any outcome, while the "Whackers" will be revealed for who they are: butthurt fanbois who had a cookie-cutter idea for how he and his waifu will retire.

IMO, Jack and Samara could conceivably fight each other to a standstill. But - nothing beats experience in an one-on-one. A smart, calm fighter will beat a more powerful angry fighter every time. As much as I love Jack, until she learns actual combat discipline, she's gonna lose, especially against Samara. It'd be like a boxer fighting a Drunken Master.
Brains always beats brawn.
