Of course the squadmates have more abilities than gameplay mechanics let on.  Gameplay mechanics don't reflect lore, nor do they reflect the actual ability and capability of the squadmates.  That's a mantra.  Let's repeat it.

You would be unsurprised how many people think Damping, Sabotage, etc don't exist in the ME-universe anymore. Jack has Singularity, it's just too mainstream for her

As for the rest of what you said, if "your own attacks can be truly brutal without unbalancing the game," why does that rule seem to apply only to Shepard?  Squadmates' attacks seem to only be allowed to be brutal when they interact with Shepard's attacks somehow.  More powerful squadmates, please.

Indeed, the PC gamer scans are speculative, but the point they got across to me was that you need to strategize to be that brutal. On Insanity in ME2 I needed to coordinate with my squads attacks to be effective, but only I looked like a badass, and mostly due to the class-specific talents. In ME3 it will be the same way, except everyone has some kind of uber attack that elevates them beyond just being useful into the realm of l337ness. Like "lashing out with your omni tool emitting a flame that cuts through the elite's exposed back, dropping him." I'm assuming that's for all engineer's and not just Shepard!Engineer. Something like a biotic punch with AoE damage for Jack would tickle my Elmo like nothing else.

I know! She has a lovely face. Jack is gorgeous.

But I get that lots of guys are turned off by bald chicks. I don't see it, myself, because I think she's absolutely beautiful, but I get that some people are simply turned off. Different strokes for different folks.

People will always focus on outstanding features. Many don't seem to even see Jack's face because their eyes are on her head or her belt bra and tattoos. I even had one person comment on how her "pure gold ear" was f*cked up lol

Those that do notice her face will still sometimes say she needs to grow out her hair to be beautiful *facepalm* w/e, no skin off my back. I've been force-fed by the media the same generic, big-tittied Barbie-doll ideal of what's attractive for so long to the point that massive amounts of cleavage bursting out of a chick's tank top is as routine and ordinary to me as coffee in the morning.

I think it's more about familiarity. Maybe Stockholm Syndrome is a terrible example, but I'm gunna use it anyway. Simply because Jack the criminal psychopath refrained from killing me, I find her somewhat adorable

I was just looking at the tattoo on Jacks arm on this one. The one with the woman's face. I think this may be one of those tats that 'you just don't ask about.' I wonder if it is that woman that Jack hung out with for a while (the woman who helped Jack into her and her boyfriend's bed. Then betrayed her.)

It's the concept art for all the "possible" Jacqueline's. At least that's what I think I know.

I seriously never noticed them before. Same with her surgical scars. I told my bro about them and he simply didn't believe me.

Also, axl, I'm afraid it's impossible to swap Aria with Jack for the "I am Omega" shot. Apparently NPCs are untouchable.

I found out about the scars from someone on this forum a while back. Didn't even realise she had them before when playing the game. Didn't know that it is concept art too, that is awesome. Her 'kept the haircut' line has never been more applicable.

Although saying that, I really like the third one down on the left. Jack simply rocks the bald look. But those stripe things make her look really mysterious on that tattoo.
