But going back to the subject at hand, Epantiras raises a good point, as well as another one of theose trademark Jack questions. If Purgatory was still part of the experiment... Then who's to say the experiment's ended yet?
I don't put anything agaisnt Ceberus. While I truly think they did loose her a few times in the past I also wonder how many of those groups she was running with had Ceberus connections. After all, Miranda openly admits that one Ceberus cell does not know who any other members are. For all we know there could have been Ceberus spies in that cult, perhaps in one or two of the gangs, ect.
Ceberus psycological test # 124...how much negative stress can a subjet take before completely going over the edge...

You know, I never realized just how paranoid I've gotten...
Oh, now you guys have got me thinking horrible, sadistic things. What if Cerberus rebuilt Shepard with a degenerative problem that would kill him slowly, just to screw with Jack? Maybe they have a whole branch dedicated to ruining Jack's life.
I'm not really being serious, but that sure would suck, yeah?

Is it really that big of a deal if Jack grew out her hair? I don't think so, so long as she stays consistent as a character there should be nothing to worry about. I'll take Jack either way.
I'm personally of the opinion that shaved is awesome and should definitely be considered heavily for ME3, but a little hair wouldn't be bad as long as it's something that fits Jack's persona. Or, if in doubt, have her hair be changeable like her costume.
As for Jack staying consistent as a character if/when she shows up in ME3, I have to wonder... what parts of her personality would you want to carry over. Obviously, I don't think any of us want our new favorite character to pull a 180 and become clingy or weak. However, to not have Jack grow in some manner seems like it would be a disservice both to the character and to us, her fans.

Actually, to deviate from hair back to eyewear... how does anyone feel about goggles as opposed to oldschool wraparounds? Ok, I've had an industrialist gene for a good twenty years now, but does anyone think gogs would look better than bins on Jack (or anyone for that matter)? Ok, they totally hides the eyes (and that isn't really our bag here) but for occasional wear? I think the right kind of goggles coupled with a shaved head would make Jack look even more intense than she already does. Plus they'd be even more 80's sci-fi retro...
Ok, feel free to sink me... I can hear you priming torpedoes from here

Well, since she was probably based on Jack from Pitch Black, I would think that those same goggles as Riddick wears would look perfect on her in combination with the biker clothes;)

Hm, I like her how she is now, if she grows it out you won't be able to see the little tattoo strip on her head or whatever. I could live with it growing slightly. Maybe something like this?
Only thing is I don't see her having a reason to grow her hair out if she isn't a LI. Not sure if Bioware would have a special hairstyle for her for being a LI or not. I'm fine with her haircut, matches up nicely with Shep's

* If only Thane had been more like Leon... *le sigh*
I've never really seen Natalie Portman much but I do remember people saying Jack looks like her. She kind of even sounds like Jack. After seeing a video of her with that hairdue (especially with her act'n all badass and **** lol), I think Jack would look pretty good with that same exact hiardue as Natalie Portman. I'm kind of torn between the shaved head and the Natalie Portman hairdue. Either way I would be satisfied. It would make sense to go with the Natalie Portman hairdue if you romanced her since, like Mkrgross said, that the purpose of her appearance was to push people away, but now that she has a relationship with Shepard, it's very reasonable for her to change her appearance. I just don't want her to change too much. I'd like her to keep the tight black vest (her alt outfit). But some different pants that don't look like part of Hannibal Lecture's straight jacket would be nice.

I'm Chaotic Good, according to some online quiz I took somewhere, and I'm nice.
It's just arbitrary structures of hierarchy and coercion I have a problem with, not people. Unless they're idiots.
In fact, Jack and I had some disagreements over this, but I think that's her bitterness talking more than anything else.

Well, for nine layers of alignment, there's a whole lot of breathing room for each, with a wide assortment of characters in media to be found in each. Bedfellows can get strange. Sure enough, I took a quiz a lot like that and drew the same thing.
Lemme put it like this in how I imagine Jack's future playing out: Would slaughtering entire shiploads of batarian slavers while freeing the slaves and dropping them off on a friendly planet be legal? No.
But would it be something I'd enjoy seeing a paragon Jack do? Absolutely. She still retains her edge while not succumbing to chickification.

Ah, that wasn't a dig at you, my friend, it was more of a dig at all the other boobs that say that. I had frankly forgotten about that line of reasoning because it seems so damn absurd to me. It's as baffling as saying that because I have knockers I'm just like, I don't know... Pamela Anderson? Let's all just ignore they're conflating two seperate characters through the tenuous linkage of a pair of sci-fi movies (one of which is questionable in its direct association with the other due to completely 're-imagining' the universe of the first in an attempt to make a heroic-epic storyline where the original had no setup for such) to try and voice an opinion that, while valid to them, collapses under the most elementary-school level of examination. If my 12 year old can see there is no correlation between Jack and 'Jack' aside from the name, any argument otherwise is futile, groundless, ultimately unprovable, and doomed to failure under the most cursory examination.
If a child can poke a hole in your theory, in the words of Einstein, it's "****ing pointless."
