Jack very quickly became my favourite ME2 character. She scored points by:

1) Being a hot tattooed gal. Just my type.
2) Having the most realistic dialogue in the game.
3) She was a fun romantic challenge.

I seriously hope she's a squad mate in ME3 but won't lose any sleep over it provided I get some decent relationship continuation.

She needs a cape and a badge across her chest.

Got a question, what's Jack's reaction back on the Normandy if you keep the base?

I just re-did an old play to see what everyone's opinion was when I keep it. For some reason Jack has been glitching on me at that part and just says "hey" regardless what character I'm playing and whether I kept it or destroyed it.

So I can't bring myself to play any game on my Xbox, right now. Anyone have some thread-relevant inspiration that could fix that?

@Hah Yes Reapers
I had the same thing happening during one of my playthroughs and someone here (if I remember correctly) pointed that it has something to do with the sequence in which you visit squadmates after the final mission. So next time I went straight to Jack and she said:

adding "Guess we can just hope they blow their own asses off".

@Sundown
Hmm, thread-relevant... you could always write next chapter of SoM :whistle:
Other than that- I don't know, when I'm bored with games I usually do a very thorough "spring cleaning" of my Old Machine (sometimes I even  reinstall Windows:sick:) so when I'm done my gaming energy is back ^_^

Thanks zewuok. Yeah, that makes sense, I saw her last in both if I remember correctly.

Had to get that all figured out. For science!

HUGE Jack fan here. I love everything about the character and the way it was written and presented. Also really enjoyed Mondo and Epirantas (I'm sure I butchered that, sorry) work. Looking forward to Jack in ME3.

Welcome to the Jack thread! Things have been quite lately but I'm sure more will come in the next days.

Just a friendly reminder, don't forget to use the [SPOILERS] tag when talking about ME3. (So far people have behaved well, Epantiras is pleased).

Don't worry, people trying to type my nickname tend to write it wrong 90% of the times (unless they just copy & paste it) :D

Must keep thread on front page...

I love Jack. She's referred to as a psychopath, which doesn't make sense at all. She's more human than Miranda, certainly. She feels things more strongly than others. Considering her upbringing, I'd say she's quite stable.

The thing is, although she likes to brag about being so bad, her main victims are only people who've hurt her and got away with it. Certainly no worse than what Samara's done.

I worry that as a romantic interest, Shepard might end up hurting her in some way. She's very fragile. But I just can't resist. For some reason, I love women with short hair...

Instantly reminded of Jack's stomach tattoo when I saw that in a department store.

Wow. That pic gave me a sudden insight into an alternate universe feminine Jack.

I'm really scared now.

Jean Paul Gaultier in our thread? It's more likely than you think.

BTW anyone speculated about the meaning of that stomach tattoo?

I don't understand all the support a bald overly tattooed ridiculously angry character gets. But then again i don't have to get it.

Thing is, she isn't angry. The first time you meet her and during the first dialogue she's passively aggressive and probably annoys a lot of people. Bur later on, she's pretty calm.

Go full Renegade on her ass and she will be amused by you. In the end, she respects you a great deal.

Just keep in mind, to her you are just some Cerbereus associative and an Alliance soldier. She had bad history with both and so she expects if not betrayal, than at least trouble.

I didn't like Jack in the beginning either, but she pleasantly surprised me.

Well as far as I know psychopath a really good at faking emotions, but I don't think Jack fakes anything. Mostly they are very well adjusted people and Jack is more than the opposite.

She reminds me of one of my favourite characters from the Millenium triologie, Lisbeth Salander.
They both survived extreme abuse, they want justice for what those people did to them, you can't stop them because they never give up!
