Well, I prefer doing Liara's and Arrival after the SM. Overlord depends, usually before. I find that order works better with the story.

I prefer to do all the DLC earlier, as I still like to end the game with the suicide mission.

If you have to do LOTSB I say do it and overlord after horizon and save the rest for after the SM.

If you give TIM the finger and destroy the collecotr base, receiving all the DLC assignments from him doesn't make much sense. Besides this little plot hole, I think that Kasumi, Zaeed and Overlord can be played before the SM, while Lotsb and Arrival make more sense if played after imo.

You get all the info from him right after horizon, so I don't see how that's a problem.

I'm with ya there. The SM makes fighting land-wars seem like small time. I did do Overlord once afterward the SM so I could take Legion. That actually reminds me of a ss that I have to post now.

Oh irony

And here's another one of my favourite Jack lines......after Garrus gets shot up by the gunship, and I may not have the quote exactly right.

"I hope you didn't need this guy too much"

Haha! I always wondered what her line was for that prompt. I usually get the "He's not gonna make it" from Zaeed. I also never ordered her to stay with Garrus while I sealed the lower doors so I need to hear that line.

Anyway, back to work. With Jack in the party I'm learning something new every day:

P.S. I think I might like this woman. I feel obligated to pick that interview apart, but then I think York hasn't expressed any views about it.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever left Jack with Garrus either, not much point to it since it only makes your life harder. If your planning on doing it, make sure to tell me what she says.

And that "if you can't hold your liquor, maybe you shouldn't drink" line, is another classic. Garrus says something good it this spot as well, and again this may not be exact, "Ah.... sorry Shepard, I should have told you about that guy."

Hello!

Thanks for the advice guys, I ended up playing arrival straightaway, twas the ****** me thought, although I think I preferred Lair of the Shadow Broker, but arrival did set the scene nicely for ME3. Anyway, I think I'm gonna start a new playthrough and enjoy overlord and Kasumi prior to the suicide mission. Plus it gives me an excuse to play this exquisite game again! I also need to replay arrival anyway, I missed out on the achievements for rescuing the doc without alerting those bactarians and for survivng the five rounds of enemies during that object Rho scene. Grrr.....

Lmao, just went through Thane's Mission and I forgot about how funny Jack's line is when you throw the guy out the window, "Damn, I could take notes from you, Shepard!" hahahaha. I think it's something like that

Indeed, I'd still love to leave Jack covering Garrus as sort of my personal welcome to him after so long. "Hey, Garrus, like old times but not so much?"

And that "if you can't hold your liquor, maybe you shouldn't drink" line, is another classic. Garrus says something good it this spot as well, and again this may not be exact, "Ah.... sorry Shepard, I should have told you about that guy."

Yeah, "I should have warned you, Shepard. I'm sorry". What a pal. Zaeed's line almost trumps Jack's for sassiness with something like "A little poison never killed anyone". Actually he's worse, I wanted to punch him after that.

Reminds me of Zaeeds "Roger that". Simple, assertive, definitely not "I'm not sure that's a good idea, Commander" that a certain someone says. Those Cerberus reps sure know how to install confidence.

@Slurms

I hear ya. I needed to start over to play all the DLC in one pt. LotSB is really useful early on especially for Jack cuz you can retrain your squad's talents, so you can get back that manditory point in Warp Ammo and maximize Shockwave and Pull. If you wanted to, of course. It drove me crazy that I couldn't evolve Shockwave with her.

@spiros

Honestly that's the main reason I take the interrupt. Plus it's a perfect David Caruso moment; "How about...B)...goodbye"

My favorite Jack line is at the beginning of Grunt's recruitment, when Jedore is yapping over loudspeak and Jack says "Ugh... I already want to kill this person..."

"Ha, Funny"

"I thought so too"

Jack's reaction to Grunt while he said "Anyone else hungry, no?" on Mordin's recruitment mission is also great.

You forget the little things, after a hard day of killing mercs/gangmembers.

Same here, but by the same token it also drives me crazy that you are forced to put points into shockwave.

Yep, another great quote. And when you arrive to fight Jedore, she says "can we kill her now?"

I don't think ME3 will be able to top my favorite Jack quote of "So F* you, and thanks for asking."

I couldn't stop laughing the first time I heard it, still laugh every time I hear it, and boy does it ever sum up Jack perfectly.

I concur. Jackolytes should live long, and find their own brand of quirky happiness in the form of a severely damaged girl with homicidal tendencies, plenty of tats and possibly a shaved head.

I know this isn't exactly Jack related, but I was just sifting through a couple of songs, and I thought of something.

Alter Bridge's "One By One" would be a perfect song for Mass Effect, entirely. If someone made a video of the suicide mission where everyone died while using that song, that'd be awesome.

Oh, and I did another playthrough with Reagan, and forgot to upgrade the ship armor. Damn.

Somebody should ask Yvonne Strahovski if she likes Jack. See what she says.

That was my favourite line as well, along with "the most powerful krogan warlord is my bro".

Hehehe that was randomly sublime. I loved the line "My cook also cleans the toilets" and the music had a great comic effect.

Slow day.

On the plus side, in a very slightly Jack-related topic, my fanfic, Into the Unknown, just got updated with chapter 28. Its a theoretical ME 3 plot, where Shepard is romancing Jack. She doesn't dominate the scene, that's Shepard's job, but she has a significant impact on him throughout the story. Also, I rewrote my first chapter, improving on the story and giving Jack a scene which I thought fit her very well. Feel free to check it out. I'd like to hear from the experts on all things Jack how I'm doing portraying her character.
