I think I'd probably have been most interested to see Jack banter with Grunt. They seem to have a fair amount in common and one of my favorite lines from Grunt was when he first sees her.
"Jack is small."

I'd like to see how Grunt and Wrex would have gotten along with each other. I think Jack might have gotten along with Thane or maybe Zaeed.
Incidently, I want see greater character customisation in ME3. I want Shepard to have a really big beard!

Here's a topic if we're searching for one. Since party banter was largely missing from ME 2, how well do you think Jack would have gotten along with each of the other squad-mates if there was some. Dragon Age 1 and 2 had a large variety of tones to each of the banters. Some characters seemed to loath each other and others came across as very close.

I would go with Miranda and Jack. I thought the characters who didn't like each other had the best party banters.
And it would be funny if they become friends in the end.
And of course Liara and Jack, just because they have nothing in common and I would like to know how they interact.

I had a good laugh when I first met Shiala and she was going on and on about how big Saren's ship is. If only I could have replied with, "size isn't everything, mine is the stealthiest in the whole galaxy." But that's probably something that shouldn't be said out loud.

Fantastic news.
and then (if you all agree) I'll post the pages with Jack on it here on the thread. In my canon Femshep playthrough I had Jack and Miranda in my team most of the times (for gameplay reasons and - of course - for the lulz) and I'm planning to use the same team in the MP2 comic as well.
Definitely post the relevant pages here.

As for banter I'd like to hear: Garrus and Jack. He seems to disapprove of her, but he's one to talk with his renegading and turian rebelling all over the place. I think she'd have some things to say to him. Also, Jack and Jacob, with fingers crossed for Jacob saying something as golden as "the priiiiiize" and Jack voicing her opinion of his ability to communicate with other sentient beings.

I'm almost done my canon playthrough and just finished doing Pragia. I basically saved right before talking to Jack, so I could see the different dialogue outcomes. In my opinion, the "It's a start" middle option seems much better because of her reaction, she seemed so honest saying her line, "Sh*t, I'm not good at this soft stuff. Just... thanks, okay? Let's get back to work"

I can see how you'd get that feeling... But I always thought that the Paragon responses as more outwardly focused (specifically on Jack) while the Neutral responses were focused on Shepard. While the Neutral path is often sympathedic, the Paragon path is more about empathy, trying to understand and focus on Jack's feelings, and I could see how this would come across as "therapist."spiros9110 wrote...
You guys notice how creepy the Paragon dialogue is towards Jack? It's so focused towards seeming like a therapist, compared to the neutral responses which seem more natural.
For example, when Jack finally tells Shepard about Murtock, Paragon Shepard looks for insight on Jack's character, while Neautral Shepard expresses his condolenses--compassionate, yes, but internally focused.
Paragon: You have surivor's guilt?
Neutral: I'm sorry you lost him.
And then later in the conversation, if Shepard says that he's going to keep visiting her:
Paragon: So you're crazy. That's practically stamped on the boarding pass for this mission.
Neutral: You're the one who doesn't get it. I don't give up. Period.
Paragon Shepard focuses on "you," while Neutral Shepard focuses on "I." Again, I could see how Paragon comes across as more "therapist," but to me the Paragon choices were more about revealing that Paragon Shepard understands and empathizes with Jack, and he's outwardly focused on her feelings. Neutral Shepard sypathizes but is, for the most part, interally focused on his own emotions.
In my opinion, the "It's a start" middle option seems much better because of her reaction, she seemed so honest saying her line, "Sh*t, I'm not good at this soft stuff. Just... thanks, okay? Let's get back to work"
I agree that it's nice to see Jack be softer in that moment... but I wouldn't dismiss Paragon Shepard's "I want to do everything I can to get your head on straight" just because Jack reacts harshly towards it. Jack's natural reaction is to push people away when they get close, so when Paragon Shepard admits that he's trying to help her, it's not necassarily a bad thing that Jack snaps at him. If she didn't care, she wouldn't bother to snap at him, so the fact that she reacts at all to his Paragon attempts means that he's getting to her, and I like it.

I think it went something like this:
Shep: "you've really built quite the wall of **** around you"
Jack incredulous: "you think I did this to myself"
And I may be a bad person but I was slightly amused by how it was listed in the dialogue wheel, "you're trauma is unimpressive."
Shep can say some pretty ****** things no matter what choice you make, but at the end of the day, its just Jack. It's how she responds in different and equally interesting ways no matter what gibberish sometimes leaves Shep's mouth. And props to the writers, as I'm still amazed by all the facets of her character that are revealed through different morality paths, we are well and truly spoiled.

In general, I find the neutral dialogue options so much better than the other two. Paragons come off as pansies, Renegades as angry idiots. Now and then they have their moments, but I can never stick to either.
That's one of the things that makes the morality-system so gay, you have to commit to one or the other 100% to unlock persuation. Otherwise your only hope is having gotten a big ME1 bonus.

After playing the PS3 version I thought, great a whole group of people that may not see the awesomeness of Jack because they lost her loyalty, unless they are renegade of course. But I guess that's what repeat playthroughs are for.

Indeed, but since Shepard also has to follow those rules, maybe Shockwave is integral for the use of Pull.GeneralSlotts193 wrote...
Same here, but by the same token it also drives me crazy that you are forced to put points into shockwave.
They definitely have their moments. I pick a lot of neutral options, too, for instance, when she asks if it's just about sex. Paragon is "I'm in no hurry, I wanna see what makes you tick, first". Just a little too much foreshadowing for me. Renegade is sometimes an angry idiot but sometimes he's snarky, like "You're a hard person to like, Jack". "You'd be my first mate?" (only 2 options, I consider neutral = renegade in this case). I actually like picking the angry idiot lines so I can hear Jack brush it off with ease.Hah Yes Reapers wrote...

"If I take you too seriously I may need to deal with you"
"Try it. Anyway, relax." *chills radiate down Shepard's spine*
Then with paragon, she either puts her wall up or she actually opens up. A big example for me is her response to "Do you think you're different now?", she genuinely says "I know that place is gone, but I still kind of want to kill every person I see. No offense."
So yeah, it's impossible for me to be strictly renegade or paragon, whether dealing with Jack or the galaxy in general. You can choose whatever options you want in conversations, as long as you hit most Charm or most Intimidate prompts you should be fine. As for the ME1 bonus, I leveled up Intimidate to max with the Lorik Quinn glitch, then I chose enough paragon options that the paragon bar was full (but I didn't level up Charm). I import to ME2, and it says I'm a paragon. They saw through my facade! Anyway, when I start ME2 I get such a huge bonus to paragon and renegade that I can choose whatever persuade I want for 80% of the game. Around the time I'm almost done with all the LM, paragon greys out for me, and I have to win Miranda's loyalty back by saying she's weak and dumb.
That reminds me, I have never done this, and I swear my heart stopped for 60 seconds after her first line.

Does this not have a ring of truth to it? My instincts are to alternately kiss her ass AND be tough with her. Does one make her a better person and the other a better squadmate/soldier?
