The way she looks and acts now is what makes her an amazing character.  Otherwises she'd just be angry Miranda.

Yeah, I agree if she did all those things she'd lose her distinctive 'look'.

It'd be nice (for Jack or any other LI) to have a "cleaned up civilian" costume. (But I suppose that'll just wait until Bioware's dating simulator DLC.)

I have to admit, although Jack is the type of character I usually get into, she really didn't click with me right away.  The first time I played through, I got sucked into Tali's romance, and the next two times were FemSheps.

But when I finally got around to doing her romance track, she won me over with the conversation about the man who sacrificed himself for her.  Gave a little more depth to her, and her whole attitude of using casual sex as a way to keep other men at a distance and keep from having to have that happen again.  I'd love to see the changes the Paragon romance would cause in her character in ME3.

Jack is awesome. Not a love interest for my taste but along with Thane, Legion and Mordin my favorite new shipmates.

Actually that's not quite accurate: my Femshep visited her after each mission and at some point Jack sayssomething similar to " you keep coming down to talk to me but I'm not in the girl's club" - after which I never got further conversation options. The "girl's club" and "cheerleader" comments Jack makes are cringe-worthy and as a Femshep I found Jack very bland. Shame.

Well, my Male-Shep never really had a choice; Tali was nice but the whole goldfish-bowl vibe was a bridge too far, and Miranda was just too much of a cold fish, even when I coaxed her out of her shell a little... Ashley had ditched him, sooo...

The odd thing was, I felt bad the second she started crying. I thought about all those jolly annecdotes Jack had about prison rape and unethical scientific abuse and generally growing up harder-than-hard (if she ever had a childhood, which is up for debate). Whatever did go on (beyond the mechanics of the scene as presented in-game), I'd like to think it went no further than a kiss and a lot of holding. I felt sorry for her, and I wanted to care for her - pretty much a first for an RPG for me.

She was my Wrex this time around. I can see why some folk would not like the character, sure, but as far as i was concerned I found Jack the best character insofar as emotional investment. Underneath all the foul language was a three-dimensional character. Plus she had a few cracking lines

i just recently finished another playthrough and went with Jack (Paragon shepard)
It's was probably the nicest romance end plot i have witnessed in a video game.Imo it's even beat Tali .. So much emotion!

Jack's personality was not fleshed out enough for me to warm to her in all honesty. Would have liked to have got to know her much better than i did. It was good to use her in the final mission as the biotic though, made sense having gone to so much trouble to get her.  Didn't do the romance option, but mostly because i hadnt warmed to her.

So for me, not for ME3 unless they give her better character development.  Then definetly yes.  Very promising, just no pay off.

Definitely the best character in the game. Had her in my party always (shockwave and group pull are great crowd control).



Also the only one I could genuinely say I wanted a ton more dialog from. When that character interaction plateaus is one of the saddest parts of the game.

To be fair, most of the romance-able characters have truncated dialogue options if you're not romancing them. (Calibrate those guns, Garrus!) Thane is really the only exception.

Anyone who says Jack has no character didn't really talk to her in-depth, or used the wrong options. You learn a lot about her as long as you aren't a jerk to her. I felt pretty close to her on my paragon FemShep. She was there when I fought the final boss. I was clenching my teeth when she was sliding down the debris and I thought she was going to die.

This happened to me too! I almost had a heartattack!   Jack was the character I wanted to survive the most...I wouldv'e cried if she was the only one that died

Anyways, Jack's charcter definitely has some depth.  I just wish there was more dialog between her and FemShep.  She doesn't talk much after her loyalty mission.

You know what sucked for was in my first play through i went renegade and romanced Jack and found her very interesting and awsome as a character compared to the other romances, but in the end i messed up and didn't realize there was an armor upgrade for the Normandy so when she died my jaw dropped i became very sad. Although i got revenge on those collector ****s and blew them to hell.

Oh, if only you'd talked to Jacob....such an unassuming guy, such an important upgrade...
