I can't believe that I just noticed, she's managed to get cast as a dominatrix in two different video games.  Talk about type-casting.

(And as a bonus, I now know that the plural of "dominatrix" is "dominatrices.")

That is an awesome pic of Kasumi and Jack.  For some reason, I actually see them getting along.  Not like hanging out because they're both loners, but they'd have an understanding and have each other's backs, I'd think.

Couldn't agree more.  So far the characters they have shown look relatively similar to what they looked like in ME2, but I have a feeling Jack is going to be different, considering what has been said.  I am, as I assume we all are, waiting with baited breath.

In the Gamespot interview with Casey Hudson there's a shot of Shepard, Garrus AND Tali. Unlike Garrus, Tali is in her ME2 outfit and since she's been confirmed to be a permanent squadmate, I assume Bioware were just using a placeholder because her ME3 look is (was?) still work in progress. Maybe Jack's new model is wip too.

Something made me worry though: Casey said that at the beginning of ME3 "you don't know where your squadmates are" and, in fact, the first squadmates you see on the Normandy when it comes down to rescue Shepard are the VirSur and James Vega. Does it mean that the ME2 squaddies ran away when Shep's trial started and the Alliance seized control of the Normandy? So where's Jack??

Alliance lock-up. They took her there after she nearly destroyed the SR-2 fighting back against Alliance troops that dared attempt to evict her from her spot below Engineering. The real reason they had to make modifications; they were repairing the damage.

... Of course, this hinges on them actually being able to capture her, so probably not.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jack got locked up again or is simply keeping a low profile, what with her criminal record and all.

Casey said ME3 takes place 1 year after the end of ME2, so it could be that some squadmates left the Normandy after the suicide mission and went on with their own lives.

Samara, Kasumi, Legion, Zaeed, Grunt, Thane and Mordin come to mind.

But Jack has no ties with any organization nor any friends besides Shepard, so I can't imagine why she'd leave or what she'd be up to on her own.. other that destroying things, but she can do that just fine by Shepard's side.

Hmm, you think Jack eats with the crew? I imagine a big loud feast where everyone's laughing and debating and Jack and Thane are the only ones missing. Thanks to Thane I know they have some semblence of group meals. I like to imagine Jack giving it a try for the social aspect. I doubt people would be afraid of a Jack backlash knowing Shepard's right next to her, and thus I can think of some pretty funny situations with her and Kasumi/Garrus/Zaeed/Grunt. That's prolly why she would eat alone

So it takes a year to finally get Shepard on trial? Wth is Shepard doing in all that time? I guess the only way to prove someone is going to kill you is by letting them shoot at you.

Part of me thinks it's completely impractical to be personally recruiting squaddies who can't even fight the Reapers directly. But then again, it took the Reapers centuries to completely eradicate the Protheans. I'd say we have time. Either way, I think if it's about "recruiting" it'll actually be more like "saving", and if not that, then maybe you'll "bump" into them ala Mordin, except they'll join you. The question is, where the hell is Jack? Earth? Seems like we're high-tailing it out of there. Incarcerated on an off-world prison ship? Again?

I know! Jack will radio into the Normandy that she's in a shuttle getting chased by a Reaper and you get the choice to do a 180 or not with Miranda in your ear saying "we can't afford to go back, She-epard, we have to stop the Reapiss".

Didn't they mention it was 6-12 months after the SM? Or is it after the Shadow Broker and Arrival.  I was assuming that those two DLC's take place a few months after the SM, depending on when you play them.

If Shepard romanced her, then I could see her being on the Normandy because I can't see her doing her own thing, when she know's full well about the Reaper threat that's coming.  She'd probably be pissed too, not being able to kick some Reaper A** with Shepard... then you know, go Pirate, take the ship over after it's all done, cuddle LOL

That's my guess. If I were Jack, I would hide on Omega. But it I doesn't matter where she is, she will be pissed off!

Indeed. Jack especially, imo. She's all about survival, and as she said about the Collectors in ME2: "Better get them, first." Everybody should be calling Shepard up asking how they can help. They should find Shepard, not vice versa.

Idk, those kinds of variables are doubtful, in my mind. I hope I'm wrong, but if she's not on the Normandy then you're looking at quite a branch-off. That's a good idea, though. Like we saw in that ME3 intro vid, Shepard jumps on the Normandy and soon after finds Jack's chillin in the co-pilot seat

As for the trial, Kenson said destroying the relay would stall the invasion by I think "months or years". I heard it was only "a few months" between Arrival and the trial but that was just a PC scan. A year sounds like a long time to get Shepard in court.

Shepard is going to be very busy with the trial trying to prove the reapers exist so Jack (even if you romanced her) and company are off continuing their lives. Plus with Jacks criminal background I am sure the last place she wants to be near is a courtroom.

I think we will come across Jack and other squadmates later on in the game somewhere in midst of the war.

 She could be at a biotic school maybe, but I doubt that the type of place she would need even exists. And I think Shepard would send his peeps to do his bidding while he deals with the authorities, because there is no need for him to show up on earth with anybody other than Joker really. 

I've already mentioned that I wouldn't mind seeing Jack and Miranda team up, but I was short on a logical reason for the how/why that would come about. But how about Samara and Jack joining forces, as Shepard sends Samara to Thessia but he can't really know what will happen in the coming weeks/months, so he sends Jack with her as her bodyguard since as powerful as Samara is she is still just one woman. And their could be some mentoring going on as well, as Jack couldn't ask for a better one than Samara.

I think it would really funny if Jack has taken over for Aria on Omega.

Pretty much, I want to re-encounter Jack while she's seated on a dais, looking bored while she holds court with her mercenaries. Then we can have a replay of Shepard's reunion with Wrex, where Jack pushes her guards out of the way (with her MIND) and triumphantly cries, "SHEPARD!"

...and if she was in a romance with Shepard, she marks her territory with a huge, over-the-top, dominating kiss. <3

Admiral Hackett said he's going to try and delay the trial as long as possible. Besides, the evidence against Shepard was supposed to be shaky at best, so no surprise if the Alliance decided not to rush things.
