Can't be subtle with Jack, it just pisses her off!KawaiiKatie wrote...

I remember it well. That's when I knew Jack was here to stay.KawaiiKatie wrote...
A lot of people take Jack at face-value and dismiss her, a fact that Casey Hudson has recognized and publicly lamented. He once said:

I agree with your post, too. I think if Bioware could do it again, they would have marketed her differently, maybe put her in a softer light. I'm glad things worked out this way. You were shown nothing but angry renegade Jack the whole time unless you explored the character yourself.

Oh no, this might signal the end to this thread... at the very least it's activity level.
I'm surprised the moderators are letting everyone start additional fan threads, but what do I know.

Wondering if Shepard possibly is the best human biotic not because he/she is the protagonist but because Shepard benefits from the torture/experiments done to people like Jack, as Cerberus likely put whatever implants they used to create Jack inside Shepard. Even though Shepard had no say in the matter, does anyone think this would make things awkward between them?
Who ever said Shepard was the best biotic? Even as an adept, s/he is no where near as powerful as Miranda, Liara, and Samana. And can't even handle hold a candle to Ms. Jacquelin Nought.

If you disregard Super Special Protagonist powers, there's no way to tell, since gameplay mechanics are indicative of nothing.

I wasn't suggesting that Shepard is the best, was just throwing it out there that he/she might be in the discussion after likely having the benefits of what was done to Jack forced on him/her. But as York mentioned, there is no way to tell, other than what we know of Cerberus as a whole.

I don't think there's a problem about having two Jack threads. Let's keep ME2 related discussions here and ME3 speculation/discussion in the other thread.
Can anyone tell me about the infamous "renegade" romance with Jack? What particular option sends you on that path?
I heard there was an alternate love-scene but haven't watched it.

At one point during your conversations with Jack, she asks if you're just interested in her for the sex, at which point you can answer yes.(renegade romance happens) or no (paragon romance happens).

I'm assuming your not talking about the "just sex" rendezvous, so by any chance were you browsing the new Morinth thread, if not than what a coincidence because I've been wondering about this very thing too.
But if there is a alternate love scene I'd be a little bummed since my last time through the romance I was going with all allowable renegade choices but I think it was just after the Murtock convo when Shep went from tough love/dick to being a complete insensitive a-hole, and that was it for me.....reload previous save.

I thought when you take the quickie, you don't get a pre-suicide mission scene, you get "fvck off!" instead. I assumed renegade was more about embracing anger and revenge and that it might show in the love scene. So taking the renegade thrust in the (3rd?) convo ends in a pre-suicide launch love scene?su66otnik wrote...

Pretty sure there is. I'd prolly reload my save way before that, so kudos to you...I guess. But if there is a alternate love scene I'd be a little bummed since my last time through the romance I was going with all allowable renegade choices but I think it was just after the Murtock convo when Shep went from tough love/dick to being a complete insensitive a-hole, and that was it for me.....reload previous save.

Goat has modded the game to play as Jack, and Miranda is receiving some of Shepa.....errr Jack's wise council.

Thanks for explaining. Does that mean there are two Jacks in his playthrough? i.e. Goat and regular Jack?

Hmm, I seem to have lost my train of thought. Still wondering what the outcome of the quickie with Jack leads to. I never finished a playthrough on that decision.

Hehe, cool pic. Hmm, I too have never gone down the route of the quickie with Jack. I doesn't effect ME2 methinks, but I'll be interested to know how it'll affect events in ME3.
