My wife's eagle eye, this artist is not too proud to admit, saw it first. But I think it was a damn good call.

I agree she does resemble her, but I can't really find any link between the two that would cause Bioware to make that connection.

That, combined with THIS makes me think probably not. It still could be, as the concept may have been based on Nefertiti, but it does more to discredit the theory than support it. I wouldn't mind finding out who that model is though, to see how close the resemblance is.

Ah, thanks for that, Razer.  That's what happens when one doesn't Tweet or Facebook or whatever you call them.  Still and all, rather an uncanny resemblance, but coincidences do happen.

Yeah I'm a guy...I'm just being dumb.  But I think we all know who they based Jack off of...


I've also been thinking about making a male Shepard named Jill.  Runs off to bed to escape the reactions from the thread.

There is dialogue for when Shep is romancing both Miranda and Jack.  Initially I thought this might turn out to be yet another fools errand, but nope that's definitely not the case. I'll edit this post as I go, but for now, paragon it is.

Intro:

Jack: Hey
Shep: Talk to me, Jack
Jack: I got nothing to say. You act interested but you got other things going. So don't pretend you coming down here is special. You make a lot of stops.           

Paragon:

Shep: Is this about Miranda?
Jack: I don't care where you play, but don't act like I'm precious if this is just killing time for you.
Shep: You're the one I'm interested in, Jack. I'll make sure Miranda knows.
Jack: You do that, then we'll talk.                    

Neutral:

Shep: You don't seem like the type to get hung up on that.
Jack: Maybe you don't know what type I am. I don't care where you play, but don't act like I'm precious if this is just killing time for you.
Shep: I make choices on the battlefield. Not in the bedroom.
Jack: I told you I don't give a sh*t who you sleep with. But you been talking like you want to understand and that freaks me out. So if your gonna keep doing that, you need to clear your head.

Renegade:

Shep: What I do on my ship is my own business.
Jack: No argument here. But don't come down here all concerned and careful if your trying to shove it up someone else. I don't care where you play, but don't act like I'm precious if this is just killing time for you.
Shep: I'm not ready to break it off.
Jack: Then why the hell are you talking to me? Get the f*ck out of here.

Thanks General for posting this! I've always wondered how such love-triangle dialogues were, never saw one in game and too lazy to search for them on youtube.

From what I remember, Jack reacts the same to having Tali in the triangle as she does when it's Miranda. I tried both on my first playthrough (with separate saves obviously) just out of curiosity. Try it out though if you need to be sure. Maybe someone can confirm this.

My cannon Shep only romances Jack, but he renegade kisses Miranda to be a dick (my Shep is a mix of paragon and renegade, though mostly paragon; I can't stand going all one or the other because I wouldn't do that if I were actually Shep).

Haha, here's my reaction: Go ahead, I find it funny. Since his name is Jill, did he have a sex change with no name change? Or was he just given a girl's name? Is he gay or straight? Is he into Jack?

Back on topic: We all know that that photo is the truth of who Jack was modeled off of (I kid of course). Obviously the artists made some vast changes to make her into an attractive female. If it isn't true, than please post photos that suggest otherwise. Please?? I really wish we could see how much she resembles her true model.

Punchbag is right. It doesn't matter who the other woman is, the dialogue is the same. Also, and unless I'm somehow doing something wrong, it would seem that Jack is the only female LI that has love triangle dialogue. But I'll play around with it some more, to make sure.

Miranda and Tali also have love triangle dialogue, but nothing beyond a "I want you for myself."

This is what I recently did, which I thought was funny cuz by that dialogue you would think that after breaking it off with the other person, she would jump into your arms, but nope, you say "Talk to me, Jack" and she says "Why?" lol

That line is so golden, everyone seriously has to hear it. The way she says "and that freaks me out" is almost comical. As hard as it was to romance the real Precious, it was worth it for these lines.

As disappointing as it is, I'll live with it (or not, I hate triangles). I know the Murtock conversation is geared towards staying with her despite her fears, but would that be so odd from a platonic friendship angle? It came across as more romantic than intimate (if I have the definitions right), imo, and thus the scene before the suicide launch felt more organic. If she walked up and said "maybe you're right, that I need...(someone)" and they hugged and shared a drink instead of making their way to the bed, I think I'd be none the wiser.

Yeah, its too bad their wasn't a "friends" path. But from Jack's POV, I wonder if she would interpret being just friended as Shepard taking pity on her. What I mean by this is that Jack is used to people trying to 'help' her, or see her as some sort of charity case. So along comes Shepard who is very nice and considerate but has zero interest in her romantically, what does she think about that I wonder? Does Shepard get immediately lumped together with all those other would be helpers, that looked at her as someone that needed help, almost to the point where they stopped/didn't see her as an actual person. And obviously for most Shepard's the gesture of friendship is genuine but I think Jack would take a long time to see it as such, with Shep essentially having to live down the actions of those the came before. Just throwing it out there...........

Finally heard Jack's post SM comment today while playing ME2. She liked the big explosions, and was glad the TIM wasn't able to mess with the base. Is it a glitch that she usually says nothing after the SM? What did I do differently?
