If your asking for our opinions, though? mine is: a decent game, but a terrible experience if you're familiar with the lore/story so far. Newcomers like it more than those who've played from the start, and those who came to it from the previous titles found it severely lacking in what it promised. IMHO: 6.5/10. Jumps up to a 7.5/10 if this is your first taste of Mass Effect.

And I didn't like Jack's part much at all. The redesign rustled my jimmies considerably. But hey, she's much more popular now. So much for the comment the art book makes that she should not be 'a supermodel with ink'.

Seems to spell out my own sentiments pretty well, actually. I liked the gameplay okay, and there were some grand moments, but a lot of things just didn't sit well with me, besides the notorious ending, of course. Jack's redesign and general role in ME3 chief among them. 6.5 seems accurate.

Oh yeah, forgot to add: Happy New Year, y'all. I'd try to work something Jack-esque into that, but I'm fairly certain that would just get me banned.

I really enjoyed the game until the ending.  Even with some of the plot holes that bothered me (we spent alll that time getting aliances during the 2nd game, but it's worth NOTHING now)  The ending was just that final straw that broke the camel's back.  I actually deleted it from my system just a couple of days ago when I realized that I haden't played since April (and ME2 since I can see the Jack romance online if I really want).  I've had these bioware points floating around since DA2 and I still haven't used them yet.  Leviathan and Omega just seemed eh and I really didn't care enough to picked them up.  

Though I do have a friend who absolutely LOVED the ending and keeps buying the occasional N7 item (dogtags, wallet).  It really annoys her that I've gone from "wow that's so awesome, I'm so jealous you got that" to "Eh...it is dead to me."

But I still stick around for any fan stuff for Jack.  It's my only connection to the game anymore.

Pretty much the same here. Frankly I only stick around because I feel like I owe it to my readers to finish what I started with ITU.

Although I do keep finding myself hip-deep in story discussions that are exercises in futility. Can't seem to help it, really.
