Honestly, it's quite obvious that if Tali survived the suicide mission, that she would be returning for ME3 if that is the case. There's no real need to lobby BioWare at all.

Dude, now you're just being spiteful. We KNOW it has an effect. The whole Tali/Garrus romance thing in ME2 is BECAUSE of that stuff. That's not even including Casey Hudson stating, word for word, that they do things based partly on fan input.

lol, no cause we only have 100 pages, and most of that is from other Liara fans other than myself. I rarely post in there, yet I visit it quite frequently. I spend most of my time in my groups discussing things, so I'm not like that.

He's absolutely correct. Fan feedback led to Tali and Garrus being implemented as love interests.

There are over 27,000 posts on the Tali thread. If even 1% of those are unique users, that's still 270 posts requesting she have a pervasive and important role in ME3. That number is likely significantly higher than a paltry 1% too.

Miranda would likely return as well, given her resignation (Paragon route) at the end from Cerberus. She has nobody else to turn to, whether your romance her or not. Same goes for most characters. Tali could be exiled, Garrus states you're his only true friend left, Thane says you're his first real friend in ten years, Grunt views you as his battlemaster, etc.

The characters of ME2 had better have significant roles in ME3. That was part of the reason to work so hard to keep them alive in the first place.

I know its unlikely but if I could I'd be satisfied with just leading the entire ME2 crew again. Of course I'd be up for the ME1 characters returning, but I'd be really just happy if they were confirmed as returning.

I mean I could argue that I think some of the expectations in the Liara thread that the DLC will be anything substantive in terms of her character is unrealistic but I don't - out of respect.
