Isn't it obvious? Tali has the betterhand in this discussion. Tali's fanthread (both the first and 2.0) had over 1000pages within the week. Miranda's fanthread is already somewhere on page 7 of the forums. xD



Tali appeals to many people. She's shy, innocent, smart, has nice hips and her obsession towards engine technology is weird but loveable at the same time. Not to mention the cute stuttering and defense mechanism she has when she's nervous. xD

I remember the time when the Tali-haters would say stupid things like "u idiotz she wud die if u romanced herz!!111!!" then LP and everyone would reply with bioware creater quotes and hard facts. and STILL the point wouldn't come across. it was stupid but simple. now we have insults to her very person. i can't believe im saying this but I miss the stupid innocence compared to the hateful comments. at the very least people don't actually come into our thread to bother us like before. They just make entire new threads for it.

I wonder what happened to LP and the others... they probably got lost in the new mass that is the tali fans.

I prefer Tali, and it would not matter to me if she were more popular or not.  

Well, I guess it would, but only because her popularity buoys my hopes that we who love Tali will get what we are asking for in ME3.<3

Still, I would like to see Miranda return.  I agree with a lot of the concensus on the forums that she makes a good second in command.

I surely hope that you guys don't get EVERYTHING what you ask for in ME3, because that would mean that one of my canon Shepards that happens to have romanced Tali, is going to marry her. And it that happens, I'm gonna puke.
I love Tali, but no marriage in Mass Effect plz, because that would be just... well... gay...

I actually feel sorry for the Tali fans who think that thread is doing anything toward helping her return. She will return if and only if that is what BioWare has planned. I would hate to see the faces of those who find out she is not going to be a squadmate in ME3 and then look back on all that time wasted in a 1000 page thread for that very reason. Not trying to be funny, but that would be crazy to say the least.

I actually feel sorry for the Tali fans who think that thread is doing anything toward helping her return. She will return if and only if that is what BioWare has planned. I would hate to see the faces of those who find out she is not going to be a squadmate in ME3 and then look back on all that time wasted in a 1000 page thread for that very reason. Not trying to be funny, but that would be crazy to say the least.

People have so much free time anyways, why not dedicate some of that time to worshipping a virtual character who embodies the ideals of a near-perfect woman?

Dude, now you're just being spiteful. We KNOW it has an effect. The whole Tali/Garrus romance thing in ME2 is BECAUSE of that stuff. That's not even including Casey Hudson stating, word for word, that they do things based partly on fan input.
