Once in a while I will suddenly find Sheppard on top of a building, on top of a tree or stuck in a wall.  I have no idea what triggers it, and it only happens two or three per play through.  It has happened in various locations, and if I reload an earlier save it doesn't happen again.

I have a save game where I am stuck if anybody wants it.

Also....
I have ME2 the collectors disk version from Gamestop

It's a common issue we're all dealing with until they fix it among the many other glitches and issues.

As a work around for in-game you ca do the following:in the Coalesced.ini file and then rebuild the file.

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
Bindings=( Name="Add", Command="Ghost" )
Bindings=( Name="Subtract", Command="Walk" )

With these bindings correctly entered in the right place, which is in the [SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault] section of the embedded file ../BIOGame/Config/PC/Cooked/BIOInput.ini file (slashes reversed as the forum will append to infinity on copies) you can then do the following:

When in the game, if you press the + key (Add) on the numpad you will go into ghost (noclip) mode and can strafe your way horizontally through objects to get yourself un-stuck. Once out of the problem area press the - (Subtract) key to return to normal mode.

Currently this is the fastest known method of escaping the dreaded bounding errors instantly that doesn't involve a reload.

You can use Notepad++ to perfom this action on the file and then use an editor or other tools to rebuild the file after making the changes. The beta editor can be found here:  social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/834703
