How about the rest of the game? (That’s my 3 all in one)
Why are there only 13 N7 quests? There were 34 UNC quests in ME1. Every system had a planet that had a quest on it in ME1. In ME2 you have so many star systems with planets in them that have absolutely no use. So much wasted space for nothing. Unless you actually enjoy scanning, probing, getting minerals and repeating that?
The 13 N7 quests were considerably larger than the UNC quests. Also, the UNC quests reused the same three or four designs for the actual mission structure and environments for almost all of them.
Were these longer?
-N7: Eclipse Smuggling Depot. Aria’s reward for helping her. So much here to do. Yep, kill 3 things on a small level.
-N7: Mining the Canyon. Two words, boring and short.
-N7: Endangered Research Station. This took longer to load before you got there and on the return to Normandy to actually do. Flip a few switches, so much fun.
-N7: Quarian Crash Site. Another very short and small level.
-N7: MSV Estevanico. Your kidding right? Risk my life walking on the wreckage only to get picked up at my mission destination.
-N7: Javelin Missile Launch. Even though this is the final part of another N7 quest line, I found it without doing them. Another rather short run and gun mission that doesn’t even reward you with paragon/renegade points for your final decision.
I would rather have seen them reuse the ship/building templates to get more actual missions than the “oh look what we can make” developer gimmick missions. It should be noted as well that almost all of these N7 missions are run and gun set ups. There is no dialog options at all but I guess that shouldn’t be any surprise since that’s how most of the main game was.
-Here is a patch download they should do.
Give us full access to the Normandy from the moment we get aboard her. Having locked rooms that a companion has the only key make so much sense. This would also includes the hangar deck.
