I heard the "shooter crowd" had the common characteristics of being unable to spell or articulate properly.

I propose a screen that just says “YOU ARE PLAYING A GAME. YOU ARE NOT COMMANDER SHEPHERD. NONE OF THESE THINGS HAPPENED.” Then a picture of Saren and Shepherd playing table tennis on top of Sovereign while a generic player looks on and cries into his hands.

I actually like it. I feel rather than break immersion its interesting to read the cerebus summary of the mission.
I second that!
I love to read about the mission from TIM(s) perspective (it helps me to understand TIM more as a character), and summary info is helpful sometimes (after a long mission).

I don't like it, but I don't like the whole areas-feeling-like-levels thing, either.

I like the fact we get a mission summary. It gives a bit of insight into The Illusive Man as well which is nice. I think I would've preferred to have The Illusive Man send the summary to our private terminals though. It's already a game mechanic so why not use it?
That seems like a very good idea to me. But I don't really mind it to be honest, I like seeing the Illusive Man's opinion on missions.

Love this idea, it would strike a better balance.

I can't imagine complaining about something so trivial as the the Mission Complete Screen. What difference does it make?
Just like the "death veins" it's a sign of poor quality control (or catering to the TPS halo/gow crowd)... take your pick.

Because it is bad?
I can't imagine complaining about a break pedal, it is such a small part of the car. Oh, and yes, it is the internet, so you must love my hyperbole. Love it.
I had reach.

That said, it could also just as easily be an email that I receive upon my return to the Normandy.
