Lockdown because of length of thread is a badge of Honor. If it happens Darthric should have the honor of opening V2 of the thread. He started this one.

(Ash turns to leave after chewing shepard out)

(Shepard grabs Ash's hand as she turns away, but she won't even look at him)
Shepard: Ash, everyone has turned their back on me, Udina, Anderson, the council, the alliance. Please Ash, don't leave me a second time.
( Ash yanks her arm away from him running off. Shepard hangs his head for a moment.)
Shepard: Joker, send the shuttle I've had enough of this colony.

So you went Renegade. I see. Ok. So you saw a better choice and decided not to take it. See that makes every I do from here on out even more your fault. If you had no other option people would understand. But nope you had to go red.
Now all I will be able to do is talk about how much I love Ash, how great is shep and Ash could get married, how get she would look in pheniox armor with a veil and a train, how she could have Sheps space babies, the white picket fence on the front of the Normandy,........

As much as I love Ash, if ME3 ends with a wedding I will be greatly disappointed.  Let's be honest, ending the ME trilogy with a wedding would be tacky as all hell.  I wouldn't mind a scene where Shep and Ash sit down on the couch in Shepards quarters with their arms around each other just relaxing....after all, they have been through hell!  Then Joker comes over the intercom asking for a destination and Shep very simply replies, "Earth."  Or something else that shows them together headed into peaceful times.  No wedding though.  Wedding would be tacky.  Sorry, but it had to be said.

I think this would have mixed effects on people. I would have liked it, but some would have probably hated it for her turning her back on him. Of course those same people already were mad at her for the horizon conversation.

I like to see the Kaidan folks coming in here with olive branches, even if Kaidan is my least favorite squad member in the series. Still, gives me warm feelings considering the two support threads are the tamest of all of 'em.

I think it would have been fine, but Ashley needs to say something there. Having her just walk away would feel wrong.  Maybe something like this...

Shepard: Everyone else has turned their backs on me--Udina, Anderson, the Council, the Alliance... Please, Ash, stay with me. I can't lose you, too.
(Ash looks at Shepard for a moment before gently pulling free of his grip, shaking her head)
Ashley: I can't. I just don't know if I can trust you anymore, Shepard. (she starts to turn, but stops briefly) I'm sorry...
(Ash turns and walks off, leaving Shepard behind)
Shepard: Joker, send the shuttle. I've had enough of this colony.

Of course, there should probably be a Renegade option, too, but that wouldn't fit our Ashley-loving theme here.

If it ended in a wedding it would be tacky. If it was done at all it would have to be done right, and not the last scene. I doubt bioware would do it. But it would be interesting to see them take in game relationships places the havn't been. I don't want ash treated to the same formula, of ,  talk, mission, talk, mission, talk, mission, sleep together, final mission , credits roll. Shep and Ash have history, I would like to see bioware do something different.

My fear is that if they include a wedding they would do it before the final mission as it is learned that Garrus is also an ordained minister!    I completely agree that I do not want it to follow the same talk, mission, talk, mission formula...but no wedding.  I just have this image of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 when Will and Elizabeth are married by Barbosa in the middle of this massive fight...so disappointing.  Just detracts from everything the other movies were.  That is what I am afraid of if they did that with ME....Garrus marrying you in the middle of a fire fight. 

Ok, I have to stop.  The more I think about this more I get the urge to kick my dog...that's how angry the mere thought of it makes me.

I had the same kind of thought.  I think this would have been really powerful for us Ash fans.

Hopefully we will have Ashley back as a squadmate in ME3. Her reaction on Horizon was a bit "blah" but your Shepard's reaction was also sort of - ho hum. If I were Shepard I would never have let Ashley just walk away like that without trying to explain in a bit more detail what's been happening the past two years and all my reasons for working with Cerberus. Also, that whole rant she gives about us not contacting her immediately once we woke up is a bunch of garbage. Shepard should have told her that one of the first things he did when he woke up was ask about her (at least my Shepard did) and when he went to the Citadel to talk to Councilor Anderson, one of the main things he asked about was where she was stationed at the moment but Anderson didn't tell him. He wanted to get in touch with her but was blocked at all angles. Shepard should have explained all this stuff. That Horizon meeting was just a complete disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I loved the game - ME2 was great, but Horizon just felt like a disappointment when it was done.



Here's hoping Ashley is back and that Shepard and her are buddies again.
