Does anyone know if "persuading Ashley to be Paragon-ish" has any effect on Mass Effect 2? As far as I could tell it didn't really affect her much in the first game other than getting her to partially kinda see the Citadel Council's point of view. I'm just curious.

Does she still say for example "I'm no fan of aliens but Cerberus has a reputation of being extremist."

I played a paragon the first time around while romancing her and probably would have chosen that but somehow our conversations never seemed to go there. I think it was because at the time she had just explained something bad that the Alliance had done to her family so it seemed a little rude to defend them (which was the paragon dialogue option) right after that.

Nope, it has no effect on ME2. The Ashley encounter was a cameo, nothing more. I don't think they put much thought into the dialogue.
