Yeah thats asking for one terrible backache if she stands up.

And can you imagine what it'd do to the blood supply to her head? All that flesh needs fed and watered by the blood, after all, heh.

Its like if those penis enlargement spams where real - we'd lose consciousness every time it got hard

Have you tried what we attempted on the Liara thread, creating a "ME2 Ash" character sheet?

What weapons skills, 2 basic powers, 1 "character" skill, and 1 unlockable power would she have?

Here's one attempt:

AR and Shotgun. Her "research" project would give her the Revenant LMG. When equipped with the shotgun, she melees to a limited extent Grunt style should the enemy get too close.

BP1: Concussive Shot
BP2: Incendiary Ammo
CS: Alliance Marine (increases health and weapon damage, option 1: Assault Marine - adds substantial melee bonus as well as more health, option 2: Marine Sharpshooter - adds substantial weapon damage, as well as slight shield strength upgrade)
ULP: Immunity (gives her a substantial amount of bonus health and health regen for a short time, or damage resistance if that's still in the game)

What do you think?

EDIT

Only two weapons per squaddie... fixed.

I really like this - fits Ash's character and her skills based on ME1. I remember equipping her with a max modded shotgun and she'd one shot kill pretty much anyone. Fun times.

I wouldn't mind seeing her unique loyalty power be more group damage based though - having a health bonus is good, but giving her something that could take down multiple enemies at once would be fantastic.

Yeah, the doc's said something about how it was "A horrific abnomination" or something. Also, my heart is now half way dead trying to keep the blood going.

So....(using the "Joey" voice)...how you doing?

Something just blew my mind, if it wernt for Ashley/Kaidan for getting to close to the Prothean beacon Shepard would not have had the vision and nobody would have known about the reapers...

True. Maybe. Shep would probably have believed his crew.

But the thing is, Shep is a key part of the story as is - improbable victories, and all that. Without shep, the citadel would be destroyed, and the Reapers would already be harvesting the galaxy.

Ow i know that, i was just saying if Ash/Kaidan was not there and didnt get close to the beacon Shepard and his crew wouldnt have known and all civilization in the galaxy would have been doomed to the Reaper threat.

I was wondering how big ME3 will be hard drive size wise. ME2 was something like 12GB on a clean install, and I got more play time out of it than ME1. ME1 was something like 9GB.

Still, I would spare any amount of hard drive space to be called "Skipper" again, to have her make fun of my cheesy dialogue and so on. I think that is one of the many many things that makes Ash stand out. In ME2, you can only build a romance after doing a loyalty mission, yet with Ash you can start making progress from the moment you meet her.

Anyway, I agree with what was posted a few pages back, that ME3 should have a label on it warning newcomers that to get the best out the game, you need to have played 1 and 2 first.

Well, we'll see - I doubt Bioware would do that outright, but I would prefer it if they actually focused on wrapping everything up.

No, Doug, They wont. This is what I wanted to add to my post.

I am totally against the "Franchise" going any further past ME3. I love Shepard, I love Garrus, I love Tali and I love Ashley. But once ME3 is done, I dont want to be bothered with the trilogy anymore.

I have a friend who WANTS Bioware to take the Halo approach with Mass Effect, And to me it would ruin what was one hell of a trilogy.

I love Mass Effect because it was one of the first Western RPG's to appeal to me.

EA took the reigns though, and while I might trust Microsoft to end it as a proper trilogy, I totally expect EA to exploit every last nickle dime and penny they can get out of fans.

Just to be clear, in the really off chance EA reps are reading this.

I will not buy Mass Effect Kart Racing.

I will not buy Mass Effect Wars (Although that is not a terrible idea. Just refine it a little more.)

I will not buy Mass Effect 4, Return of the King.

I will not buy an Ashley or Shepard or Garrus action figure (Albeit, I might buy a few t shirts or sweaters with N7 on them.)

I will not buy a Mass Effect 3 that ends with a SLIGHT chance for a 4th game. And if such a thing happens, I will be immensely disappointed in Bioware, Not EA, Because Bioware will then have allowed the trilogy to be exploited.Bioware is currently one of my top 3 developers, And though it took me a few months to come around, im going to get Dragon Age Origins this weekend, NEW not used.

I do get what people are saying about ME2 being MUCH less an RPG than Mass Effect, And I agree, But thats not a problem too much for me. I love the story, I love the characters, I love the setting. Unless they do some more MAJOR retconning for ME3, Like Garrus or MShep having breasts, I will buy ME3. Also, ME3 being a button masher would be miserable.

This all being said, I have a ton of trust in Bioware that their creative vision will be fulfilled with ME3, and the game will be as near to perfect as possible.

Yes I definitely agree. I would be very upset if Bioware announces ME3 and says "Don't worry, if you haven't played the other two games you will feel right at home with this one." I mean, what is the point in making a trilogy if they all feel like separate experiences? I want closure on everything that was issued in the first two games or the whole "trilogy" will just feel like a bunch of....oneilgies.

Ok, calm the hell down - Mass Effect isn't Halo - Halo is a limitedly defined military fest whereas Mass Effect is a whole universe of well defined characters, races, and cultures.

Its as valid a setting for games as any fantasty game, and a hell of alot better than Halo's universe. Further, there is far more scope for characters in ME than in Halo.

There's something horribly wrong with a defination of RPG that means "An excellent story you role play in" means there's less RPG to it, :D

All i have to say is, that Ashley was one of my favorites, i really hope she comes back in Mass Effect 3. I stayed loyal now Bioware needs to show make-up sex, ROFL. Honestly though she was just awesome i thought she was cooler than any of the other LI's in the first game, and still like her more than any of the ones in the second game.
