Bioware might end up using the two years for Ash/ Kaiden to do some tough assignments to get them up to par with Shep's new team.



I hope so, because coming back as is, would be lame and sad.



I still like Ash so hoping for the best.

If ME3 really is about defeating that Reaper fleet we saw, it doesn´t matter that much what individuals are are on Shepards team. They just have to be trustworthy and ready to do everything.

i always preffered weapons to biotics..so Ashley is the best option for ME3...biotics can fail..a bullet will always do the job...no matter how many bullets it takes

Bullets did not help against the seeker swarms, but then the biotics did not help against the human reaper. You need a balance. I play as a soldier most of the time so I like a good balance in ME2. In ME1 I played Ash and Liara as I did not value any of the Techies, well except for Garrus!



I'd like to see Ash's character ivolve regarding her abilities

Personally I never use any of the biotics or tech abilities, coming from a mainly first-person shooter background, I have a "give me a gun and I can kill it" attitude and have never seen any use for the other abilities.



This may be ignorance on my part, but as far as I'm concerned nothing can't be defeated with firepower alone.



Suppose this is a reason why Ashley is always on my team, although I don't mind using squadmates with abilities, I just leave them to use their abilities as they see fit.

In ME2 I prefer my squadmates to have additional abilities, especially if I am playing as a Soldier class. Miranda/ Kasumi/ Garrus/ Thane/ Samara are all good options. If I am playing as sentinal/ vangaurd/ adept then Grunt is the best choice, the bugger never dies.

Well i thought they did more so than the rest of the crew, Liara is a scientist why would you want to risk her by briniging her on the battlefield! Tali a engineer, good against Geth but again why would you want to risk her, Wrex was just a merc one of the best, but he still was just a merc, he is the Krogan Zaeed. Garrus was just a cop. Even Shepard was just a regular soldier like Ash and Kaidan. They make the most sense for shepard to bring on mission as they have Alliance combat training, they will use the same tactics and understand each others hand sighs ect.
