The guy that made it did'nt like Ash at first he said this and this shocked me:

I love Ashley. Wasn't always the case, used to hate her in ME1. (Even though I always nuked Kaidan at Virmire; because I feel like a douche if I nuke her: she has a really close-knit family! Think of the loved ones! If Kaidan had wanted to live he should've talked about his 6-year-old sister Priscilla who has TB and depends on him...or something.)



But after watching the Horizon confrontation in ME2, I really came to admire her. Went back and played ME1 with her to get the Soldier Ally achievement, and now I love her. I love her because she is SO. FLAWED. And she's not a stereotypical video game woman. Such a breath of fresh air.



I hope she's back in my squad in ME3. Hence, plushie. ''

I dont get your logic.

If Bioware can make a caracter like Ash, where some love her and some hate her becuase of her personality it shows they made a brilliant caracter becuase every player is getting a response from her. It aint just ''meh'', It's she's amazing or i hate her. Hate is love  Ash is a brilliant caracter indeed. I hope Bioware dont forget that, but as she was the only ME caracter refrenced in DA:O i think they remember she is great.

If a character invokes indifference it means their writing was crap, witness Jacob. Ashley, Miranda, Jack, Thane and a few others are great, you can see this by the controversy they cause.
