It´s definately not easy to release dlc that has any impact on the story. It´s the same as with DAO, you got an additional character and some kind of base, but that had not much of an influence on the storyline itself.

I think Bioware said they're going to release DLC that bridges ME2 to ME3. Unless by that they just mean DLC in general...

Honestly, I would be happy with some sort of extended cameo or reply to Ash's e-mail. I don't like how her cameo ended.

If there is going to be Liara DLC which judging from the files in the game is likely and it is true that Bioware are behind the character accounts on these forums, judging from what Liara said it is likely that Ashley/Kaidan would be included in that DLC.



But im going to keep expecting the worse meanwhile, that way I won't get disappointed if nothing happens.

Indeed, I'm trying to be positive that it will all be worth it in ME3 but it would be nice if we could at least see them again on the Citadel or something.

I believe the consensus is that the character role-players are all Eceal. Though there are a lot of hints of Liara DLC. Hopefully the Kaidanites and us won't be the only fanbases left in the cold.

How about an expansion? Big enought to have to publish it for retail. So I could go to Wally world and pic up the disc.

YES, please! Have it on disc! That way I can actually get it. I still don't have Zaeed or Kasumi. I've just watched some videos of them.

The fact that she said she's doing it (and she responded to a PM on one of the character accounts that confirmed it's ecael) and all those accounts roleplay as Ecael does and the fact that they have signatures in the same style that Ecael creates pictures.

Well, there was that thing a couple months back when they said they were saving the ME1 LIs for ME3. I suppose that gives reason for hope.

From a writer's perspective, it makes sense. It's much easier to write the story for ME3 when you know for absolute certain that Ashley/Kaidan and Liara are alive. This way they can put those characters into integral roles without worrying whether the player has them alive.
