And im British too, not English though lol.

And Liam's Scottish isn't he? ****, I feel outnumbered here.

That is such a boy thing to do!  Which part of Britain do you hail from my good man?

And don't feel outnumbered we're not trying to take over, are we? Posted Image

Well my dad was in the Army im a military brat so i have lived pretty much everywhere. I lived in south London for 4 years thats the longest i have lived somewhere lol. I live in Newport south Wales now, where my dads side of the family are from...Its a sh** hole. lol. My mums side of the family are from Northern Ireland.

Same - spend most of my first 9-10 years in various places in West Germany (the country, not the west side of modern Germany).

Yeah i was born in Germany in Berlin (on British soil dammit!) only lived there like a year (i think i told you this, might have been someone else) I loved the moving about apart from the fact i had to say goodbye to friends every couple of months or years. Lived in Cyprus before i moved to Newport and while in Newport i moved to 4 diffrent houses in the same year lol (not army related though)

*nods alittle* me too. And I don't see why Americans are so opposed to the idea of saving money on healthcare or letting poor people live.

I don't mind the getting to know each stuff. Kinda nice. I will ask we stay away from politics please.
Lets do it for Ash.

Anglo-Saxon people represent? At least we aren't French. Haha, haha! ... There aren't any French posters here, are there?

Maybe I ought to stick to just talking about Mass Effect.

Whatever, so long as we colonials can be tax-exempt from tea I think we can smooth over our rough patch in the late 18th to mid-19th centuries. Probably. Okay maybe not, those tea party folks here are ****ing nuts.

Not with the stereotype stuff again, please say you dont realy think we are all posh and drink tea and biscuits? Well we help each other in wars and healthcare ect Britian, Canada, America and Australia are like family, realy we are one huge country on different parts of the globe.

Hell no. I actually find our countries' pseudo Anglo-alliance adorable when I think about our shared culture, similar interests, and foreign policies. Just teasing! Unless you think all Americans are fat, eat McDonald's every day, and watch nothing but reality shows.

Cause if you think that... you wouldn't be incorrect actually.

EDIT: Also I drink tea.
EDIT 2: Also let's keep politics out of the thread! :wizard:

I know not all Americans are fat its the same over here realy though we like McDonalds also, and we have to many reality shows, we are alot the same and i dont beleave the American stereotype, i find stereotyping stupid. yes keep politics away from an Ash thread lol! She hates politicians.

Wanted to comment on something posted a page or 2 back.

The idea of Shepard being able to record a vidmail or an email to send to Ash would be amazing.

I could picture that too.....

Hey...Ash....Goin to fight da Collectors in a black hole filled hell hole, I might not come back, If I dont, Love ya- Shep.

All I wanted to hear was one line between the two that showed that they cared.

"Promise me you make it back Skipper?"
"I promise Ashley. You're not losing me again."

All the motivation I would have needed right there

That whould have been nice. I like it.

I dunno I really think the interest lies in the tension they've created, I mean I'll wail like a baby if they don't bring Kaidan back properly but I have to know how this is gonna go.  The friction deliberately gives Shep a way out to play the field and claim 'we were on a break' or to hang on for dear life and pray that we won't lose them.

The player emotions are all really strong, don't think anyone was meh about the way the old LI acted, it was probably one of the cleverest bits of writing we'll ever see, what makes it even better is we think the writing is awful  but we'll probably look back on it as genius.  Or so I'd like to believe Posted Image

It's so hard though... I'm pretty sure everything that could be said/philosophised/speculated about concerning Ash has been done. Let's talk about her hair again.

Just curious, I'll remain OT after this, what kind of accent do you have?  My cousins were army Brats born in Germany and they have really weird accents but they lived over there their whole lives, I was wondering if you sounded southern wuth the london thing or welsh or neither?

Oh god. ME3 reunion:

(The Reaper fleet lies beaten back, driven into Dark Space once again. Shepard with a slight limp hobbles over to the love of his life, the woman who stood by him at the end even after their reunion on Horizon where he seemed to compelled to greet her like a tool)

Shepard: Ash, we did it. The Reapers, they're--FFFFF what happened to your hair?!

Ashley: Damn Reaper burned it off, but I dunno. I kinda like it. Makes me feel like G.I. Jane, whatcha think?

Shepard: I should go.

It does add drama yes. Drama and friction can be important. I guess it depends on what comes next.
I don't believe that that drama has to be a wedge between characters. They can keep the relationship and drama. You don't have to have a break up to have tension. I think Ash and shep can fight together, they don't have to fight each other.

It's not just military, it's practical, I pretty much always have my hair in a ponytail, but then again singeing it on a Bunsen burns smells horrid, I could imaging catching it in your rifle would proove, well inconvinient ti say the least.

Personally I like any way women put their hair, except pigtails. Never understood the fascination with 'em. Ponytails are fun though cause they give me something to paw at like a cat. /easily amused

Well Newport is a scummy place in Wales its a slum and everyone sound like rejected cockneys, i have a mix of Newport Welsh, cockney from my time in London Scottish when i lived in Cyprus all my friends were Scotts and Welsh. And my mate thought i sounded like i had a Brum accent lol! it is wierd noboday can tell where i am from lol. (Where am i from?)

When i first moved to Newport on my first night i went out with my brother and ower mate Bradley (most my family live in Newport so when we came up to see them we seen him) We went for a night on the town a guy heard me speak and he knew i wernt from Newport so he pulled a knife on me becuase he thought i wasnt Welsh!

Ash looks fine the way she is. imho. If she walked in with her hair down I might not know who she is.Burnt hair does smell bad. My hair is almost always in a ponytail too, btw.
