Everybody has their limits, and she doesn't exactly flip, she doesn't turn round and say 'Oh my god, I just realised Cerberus have been wrong the whole time....'

She just knows that this is one issue where she believes TIM is wrong, and is willing to stand up accordingly.

She turns on an organization she trumpets the merits of the whole game. That's a flip, it had no basis in her character. Perhaps when you romance her it's believable she might choose her lover over them but if your just friends it's seems silly.
It's like if Ashley started quoting Nietzsche, completly out of character.

And there are definitely more Ash/Kai fans out there who don't post on the main forums. Just look at Ashley, Kaidan, Liara fans unite here! group. We're pretty large, but many of us post just within the group. Ash and Liara are very popular in Eastern Europe too. So Tali fanbase being the biggest is rather relative IMO.
