Or rather, tuesday morning...

Have some patience guys.

I have no problem waiting, Bioware like to either announce information early in the week or at the end of it.

i ugggh ive played ME1 waaaay too many times (like most of us im sure) theres a limit too how many times i can hear there same charecter convos over and over and over i want something new and fresh unknow idk maybe that coming in ME3 but as i said its a lonnng wait too go cold turkey.
i would never pick anthoer LI in my main playthourgh, but i may give ME a rest for awhile idk depends on the devs.

Well, I guees I have an advantage over you then. I've only played it a handful of times.

how long have you had it????

For quite a while now, actually. I think since shortly after its release. One thing you should know, however, is that *I* was not the one behind its introduction into my life, that was my brother. Mostly I am content to watch him play. I have done a few playthroughs myself (about 4), as opposed to his 15+. Also, I am just a casual gamer, not a gaming enthusiast. Normally, the urge to do something productive interferes with the gamer gene.

Yep. And they will still be human husks. Honestly.

At least in Halo the Flood eventually branched out to include Brutes and other forms. But husks... nope, humans all the way until the end of time.

Look at all the post-garden worlds you can strip-mine in ME2. Many of them mention evidence of massive orbital bombardement. I imagine they send in ground troops after their done to wipe out survivors.

@pryo oh my bad i ussaly dont read those planet descrptions the letters are too small and it adds too the tedium of an already tedious task of scanning an entire planet inch by inch too find rescources.so mostly likely husks then i figured as much.

So--if Ash/Kaidan *are* included to some extent in the Liara DLC that I think we can all agree is all but inevitable, I'm trying to figure out what's the most we could reasonably hope for, i.e. what kind of involvement would be entailed? Personally, some type of significant involvement for Ashley seems about the only thing that will get me to really care about this contrived Shadow Broker storyline.

Perhaps Liara messages you to meet her on Ilium where she tells Shepard that the Shadow Broker (in concert with the Collectors) has targeted people connected to Shepard, meaning Ash/Kaidan. This could lead into that huggy-teary-snoggy-return-to-the-fluffable-cute-bunny-Liara that the Liara fans have been angrymobbing about since the release of ME2,  maybe she even *temporarily* rejoins your squad *for one mission only* so you can go off and foil the Shadow Broker's nefarious plans for your only human companion from ME1, concluding with a *real* reunion scene between Shepard and Ash/Kaidan, in which Shepard behaves in less of a dunce-like manner.

Of course, if you romanced Ash/Kaidan, then this would be a good time to do some follow-up convos on the email.

Don't worry about it. I'm just the sort of guy who looks everywhere for bits of lore I might miss.

I approve of this. And I want the Virmire survivor to hang out on the Citadel somewhere so I can go see her throughout the storyline. My AshShep was totally broken up about the whole Horizon thing.

Well I'm already bored of that. I don't think I'll be buying it. At least not right at release.

Anyways, here's an escael pic about people complaining we haven't heard about the dlc yet.

Yes, these two ideas put together just might do it. Might make me happy and make me want to play ME2 again.
So I predict that bioware will see this idea, turn and run screaming into the night. They will come back the next morning saying we really love you guys,  here is a new gun oh and a new hammer head mission.
Do I sound that jaded? Yes I do.

Indeed, if liara does get DLC, they will throw the virmire survivor fans a bone as well.

Can only pray there's a little bit of meat on it.

Great ideas.

I'm still kind of hoping Ash/Kaidan are running her/his own "bring down the broker" Alliance operation and ally to help Liara & Shepard. I really want a proper reunion, and I like the idea of having her/him hang around the Citadel so you can visit. My main Shep spent a few too many nights passed out in bathrooms with creepy Turians after Horizon.

Bioware will be Bioware and always do what is best for Bioware. I don't begrudge you your jadedness, that is just my best-case scenario.

I like your idea Zeuss. It could actually work. Would adress some issues and resolve some things for all of the ME1 LI. Could make a good story. So I like it. It makes some sense.
I am just picking on bioware.

Nope, no announcement yet. I'm emphatically not holding my breath, but I've had some thoughts on how they might possibly work Ash/Kaidan into that Liara DLC we all are in agreement is basically a forgone conclusion.

They should just make a big mission pack where Ash/Kaidan and liara play a big part, you get them in your squad for the missions and then you have sexy time with them, at the end.

Not only does this not conflict with your mE2 LI, it would make the people who are loyal to there ME LI more happy.B)

Considering how they've treated liara and ash/kaidan fans about the same, I can't for the life of me see them make a liara dlc without working ash/kaidan in there as well. Like, it just wouldn't happen.
