Not necessarily, at that range, she won't even need to aim down the scope.

Besides, Ash doesn't mess about, someone might survive a pistol round in the chest, they won't survive if the chest is removed completely

A lot of people (or a few really loud ones) hate Tali too. It just seems all of the artists were drawn away from Ash for some reason.

Must be they flead to Tali or Miranda

I think Ashley attracts a more cynical, disillusioned crowd who have a poorer view of people then many fans of other characters. Not many cynics are artists. When they are they tend to be great but most never get into it much. I used to draw for instance, I lost my passion for it as I've gotten older.

You obviously have not come across the Tali/Ash slashfic that's out there. It exists. Seriously.
