A horse on crack could dance better than Shep!

Was she smiling when she said it?

Sorry, I really couldn't resist I'm sure you're a super stud muffin, of course why is it men always think you have to have slept with lots of women to be good in bed?

Because they're not very good at spotting little white lies

Haha, if men's skills on the dance floor were representative of their *ahem* experience, us gals would have a much better idea of who to stay away from!  Sadly it is not Posted Image

Not sadly at all! I couldn't dance if my life depended on it! Posted Image

Well, I can not dance myself - but I say screw it! If you dance like a war crime, at least you made the effort

War crime does not even begin to describe my dancing. Oddly enough, I can ballroom dance fairly well though. My club dancing is what they use at Abu Ghraib though.Posted Image

I'm only messing sweetie, now where were we?

Shep's dancing I believe, I thought it was a nice touch in ME1 being able to dance with you LI watch Shap and Kaidan or Ash and Shep dance always made me giggle and go awwwwww at the same time.  There wasn't anything like that in ME2 made me Posted Image

I guess I've pursued the romance with Ash because she seems the more "mature" of the two offered in ME1. I romanced Liara on a second playthrough and felt the relationship was kinda shallower, in spite of the all the mind communion Shep and Liara went through. Went back for a third playthrough and romanced Ashley again.

Sure, my Shepard was bummed out by Ashley's refusal to join the team in ME2, but she had plenty of good reasons not to:

1) Dereliction of duty - she couldn't go AWOL to follow Shepard, as Shepard's no longer Alliance military

2) She had to report to her superiors on what occurred on Horizon

3) As Chief of Operations on Horizon, she had her own people to care for (she didn't install those turrets by herself).

4) Cerberus did some really nasty stuff to Alliance soldiers in ME1. A lot of Sheps out there do not seem to care... so much for being brothers in arms! I don't blame Ash one minute for turning me down.

BUT...

Now Shepard's a SPECTRE again... he's got his own ship with a crew that has little or no loyalty left for Cerberus. Wherever Ashley's next shore leave happens to be, Shepard will be haulin' his "great ass" over there (after calling his mother, of course... :) ).

Hopefully going to pick up Dragon Age tonight.

I am expecting an amazing game with a similar style to Mass Effect. If its ANYTHING like Mass Effect, Ill be happy as hell.

I might go to Gamestop and buy Microsoft Points as well to buy some of the DLC.

The party interaction is amazing, I love it as much as ME, but they're both different games so all opinion really.  I like the female LI not so much the male ones but I think not being male always clouds that decision, enjoy Posted Image

Thats why I want to get it tonight instead of tomorrow. I want to be able to play it all night if I feel the need to.

Ive heard great things for months and have been really on the fence. I broke off the fence when I simply said, "Its Bioware, Stupid."

Besides Bring Down The Sky, I have not yet played a single Bioware product that I did not like. Bring Down The Sky was WAY too short for an 800 point DLC.

Don't know if you a fantasy guy or not but if you like the original ME than you should like DA as well. The plot was a little cliche but not as bad as some Bioware games. the squad interactions was awesome and the secondary characters were developed very well too. The combat is quite a bit different than ME though, I think it was a lot more similar to KOTOR than ME all in all, turn-based combat with a real-time veneer.

I think you'll enjoy Dragon Age - its got the story of a bioware game; though I will warn you the combat can be tough to get into at first.

As for the theme, I prefer sci-fi myself, but DA:O does everything so very well, including the story, that I enjoy it deeply. And the novels are good too if your looking for a read, though I will warn that they can be alittle emotionally dark.

Going to get it in about 45 minutes. My mother is taking the dog to PetSmart and she can drop me at Walmart. Ill be there for about 5 minutes, Get DAO then go.

I have to be honest, Just like with Mass Effect 1 I have this feeling deep in my gut that im not going to like it.

But thats a good thing, Because ME1 is probably my 2nd favorite game of all time.(Next to MGS4, which was a master piece.)

Even if I dont, There arent any games I want for the next 6 to 8 months.

Im sick of shooters. Fallout New Vegas interests me a little, But Obisidian developing it scares me to no end.

I have a general idea of what Dragon Age's plot is, and it sounds like what everyone wants ME3 to be- little to no recruiting of squad mates and just gathering Armies to beat the Reapers.

Im sure ill love it.

Aww, that was really well done. I don't really like Lifehouse that much but I like that particular song.

Quick question, how can you get Ash and Shep to dance together, as per the post by BECC4? I imagine it must be in Flux in ME1, though I haven't seen the option for anyone else but Shep to dance. Ash always says she would love to show me her moves, but she is on duty. Oh, and no matter how good my Shep is, he really, really needs dancing lessons. After he saves the galaxy in ME3, he will need it for all those formal functions.

Anyway, onto a different note. I was thinking that the return of Ash in ME3 could be handled in different ways. I've already accepted the fact that she will be back, I think it is too obvious. What I am thinking is what role she plays. If you are new to ME, then perhaps she is a NPC and has a somewhat reduced role, since the new player has no history with her.

If she is your ME1 LI, I see her playing a much larger role, including the dramatic rekindling of her and Shep's relationship. Even if she isn't a squad mate, I feel she will be on the Normandy with Shep. There is plenty of space for her in his cabin after all.

I have faith that ME3 will satisfy us Ash lovers!
