I really, really wish there was a dialogue option in the game when she calls Shep "O Captain, my Captain" for him to reply, "You want me to fall cold and dead?" Also, is it bad that's the first thing I thought when I heard her say that?

It features a box similar to this:

But where this one says loyalist, I need something to describe both characters.
I thought 'femme fatales', but wasn't sure. So I figured I'd see if you guys had any better suggestions.

Edit: *puts on critical thinking cap* You know, it's actually an interesting poem to reference in the broader scope of ME. The Whitman poem is (acknowledged as) a reference to Moby Dick. Could the reapers be Shepard's 'white whale', the objects he's chasing ultimately to his own destruction? Hmm. Kind of fits.
Walt Whitman is refering to Ab Lincoln in his poem "O Captain, My Captain"
He expressing his deep love for his slain leader. So she also is expressing her deep
love for her Captain.

Agreed... But it was the context of that I was exploring, I suppose, in particular relation to the Moby Dick allusion. Starbuck calls Ahab "O Captain, my Captain" a few times right before he meets his maker and his ship goes boom.

Really? You guys don't see them as having anything in common?
I always thought of them as being very similar in nature, but fighting for opposing factions. Both are completely loyal to their own side, strong willied, independent and willing to fight for what they believe. Two sides of the same coin

Not true. Ashley didn't like the Alliance as much as Kaidan did. And Miranda resigns from Cerberus if you destroy the base.RazerPhoenix wrote...
