Ashley was awesome.

ME2 serves to add even more depth.

You go through that horrible break up, And now its Shep's call if he wants to try and work it out with her.

2 out of my 3 Shepards would rather comfort now, via Miranda and Tali, But the third one is loyal.

I support Ashley as a squadmate in ME3, and as a Love Interest in ME3.

I'm all at once placing a tremendous yet realistic faith in Bioware that the romances from ME1 will have satisfactory and fulfilling roles and conclusions in ME3, and I'm also narrowing my eyes at Bioware and pointing at them like the evil monkey in a "you'd better" type of skeptical way.

Don't you let us down Bioware!

I tried to like Ashley. I mean I beat ME1 five times, and I used her everytime, she was my favorite charater in the game. But she overracted. I mean she hasn't see me in years and she just blew me of like a middle school crush. After all Shepherd and Ashley went though in ME1, she couldn't give him the benefit of the doubt?!

I tried but, Miranda was too intersting too much of a perfect partner for my shepherd.

NOT "Ash love." The devs get creeped out by the "love" threads. haha.

Maybe just keep it simple:

About how awesome Ashley is...

Go Ashley!

Even though my first playthrough was leading me up to have a relationship with Miranda... I got screwed with the Miranda/Jack fight. I was led to believe that Ashley kinda moved on, so no one would get hurt if I went with someone else.

If you don't like Ash then please leave this thread, its for people that like her to discuss not for saying how much you dislike her

Ashley, to me, was more than a little "Private Vasquez" (from Aliens), with some of the rough edges filed down and a prettier face. I used her the whole game during ME1 along with Liara (I was an engineer, so I had a pure combat, pure biotic, and pure tech), and Liara was much more my taste. I let her die on Virmire not because I was with Liara but because I had already sent Kaidan ahead and detonating the bomb was the whole point of the mission.

Finally an Ash thread! To all those people whining about the fact she was abit stuck up, the fact her poems sucked and that she was 'racist' towards alien races *facepalm* who actually cares!? At least she had an identity and half the fun was breaking down those emotional defenses to find there was a human being under there who eventually turns out to be both a sincere and down to earth character.

I hope Bioware continue her story into Mass Effect 3 or i for one will be dissapointed :(. I think it would make a great story to see how things turn out for both the players who stayed loyal and the players who strayed. ASH FTW!

Ashely was the only ME1 caracter that felt like a real person, Liara was the worst ME squad mate so boring in ME1 and so annyoing in ME2 what is wrong with her voice?

Indeed, Ash was the realist and most interesting character around, once you explore her personality and background you find out she is also incredibly deep, everything she does is because of past experiances and things that have happened in her life, the poems and her slight dislike towards aliens are good examples of this. She actually has real and personal motivations behind everything she does in me 1 and indeed in me 2, it just takes some time to appreciate her and understand what a great character she really is!

Count me as an Ash supporter. I was a big fan of hers in ME1 and, while I knew she wouldn't be available as a squadmate in ME2, I was disappointed that all we saw of her was her brief appearance in the intro, a conversation on Horizon, and then a little e-mail. I was hoping Shepard and Ashley would eventually have at least one more conversation where, even if they don't immediately restart their relationship, they could have at least laid down the foundations to do so in ME3.

I imagine Kaidan fans feel much the same way.

That said, it still felt very rewarding when I had my Shepard stay true to Ashley in ME2. That scene towards the end where he's in his cabin and he just looks sadly at her picture for a moment was wonderful.
More Ashley in ME3, please!

I'll support this thread, even though I picked Kaidan over Ash in every walkthrough. But since Kaidans and Ashley's fate in ME3 are intertwined, the more voices calling out for them the better :)
