Going back to the Casey Hudson interview: Ash/Kaiden and Liara were not available in squadmates in ME2 because they had a part to play in ME3. Wether this will be as squadmates or simply as storyline characters is still undetermined.

Damn, I can't possibly see any sort of big story line roll ash/kaidan could fill. They're decently high ranked, but they wouldn't be your contact with the alliance. Anderson would.



You essentially quit Cerberus after the events of ME2 (both renegade and paragon basically tell him to go to hell at the end of their chat), so I can't see any legitimate reason for them not finish the fight with you.

Gahhh, all they need is some writers to make some squad mate specific dialogue, and some voice recordings and we got our ashley back. Is that too much to ask? They don't need to make these hour long recruitment/loyalty mission for her.

I would actualy love to do a loyalty mission for Ash, maybe something involving her sisters. But yes i just want her back on my squad more than anything for ME3.

I want Ash's role to be a surprise. A big happy, romantic , more than I could have ever hope for , beyond my wildest dreams, so good it more than makes up for how little she was used in ME2 surprise.  That should do it. I don't want much do i? Did I miss anything.

I'm still holding on to the fact that Bioware said we'd be "rewarded"  for our loyalty to Ash.
But how they will 'reward' us is another thing. We can only hope.

One step at a time... Obviously I would love for a bunch of ash content, but realistically they aren't going to design it for a character someone might have offed.

Pretty sure me3 will be similar to me1 in regards to how they handle team mates. Might be some recruitment missions for guys you've never met before, but I expect that you'll be able to get just about whatever old squad mate you want, on your team again. Just because they really don't require that much work to add and the fan support would be through the roof if they allowed everyone to come back.

A lot of people think me3 team mates will be like how they handled it in me2. IMO, this is silly. They couldn't create content for wrex or ashley or kaidan in me2 because some people wouldn't get to see that content. In me3 you aren't gaining the loyalty of your squad again. This problem is non existant.

Just talking/ranting out loud here.
