Of course this only works if you haven't done the influence points, or armour quest and other things, but still. The option to chew her out is there.

I did not even know this was possible until I started browsing these forums.  My renegade was always high enough by then that I could intimidate Wrex to stand down.  Wrex is probably my 3rd favorite character in ME1.  Honestly, if Ash would have gunned down Wrex in my playthroughs I probably would have been pissed and looked at her in a completely different way.  I am very thankful that Ash never did that in my Shepards universe.

She only does it to protect you. You can't tell me you'd rather have Wrex gun down Shepard.



Certainly that would have changed your outlook on wrex. lol.

i wonder if wrex would have even done anything to shep judging how shep can splatter wrexs goo everywhere shep completly gets the drop on wrex if you kill him i think if wrex wanted to kill shep he would shoot him right away

It did seem a little too easy to get the drop on Wrex since he was supposedly seconds away from offing you himself.

My interpretation of the whole scenario was that if Wrex got one step angrier, He would have shot and killed you. Youre decision prevents that final step.

Things seem to be going slow again today.



Yeah i think people use that ''racist'' or ''she killed Wrex'' crap as a excuse to hate on Ash. I like the fact she protects Shepard nobody else was willing to do it that kinda shows her loyalty. I charmed Wrex anyway so Ash didnt kill him on my cannon Shepard.

shep rifle butts wrex if i rember right or elbows him or something a bit to easy to land a 500 pound krogan on his ass would make sense if shep had the exo skelton upgrade in his suite

I completely agree with you on the second part too. The Ash and Kaidan haters all seem to recycle the same old points that all have perfectly reasonable explanations.

Apologies if the topic had been brought up before, only started using the boards the past week, and missed a few things in threads I've taken interests in, such as this one.



One thing I'm glad about, is the level of reasoning people can put into interpreting the actions of Ash in that moment. Rather than just going with the above negative impacts and excuses.

Yeah, I got that impression too; it's just that he's like seven feet tall and a mountain of muscle!
